  • Do those thin little safety rails near the chair meet code?

  • Neat photo's but sure takes the glamor out of the main floor view.

  • Thats a interesting view of the Swell/recit shutters box is right up against the ceiling of the organ chamber.

  • Holy cow!

  • jezzzz....gave me vertigo just looking at this....but nice.

  • I'm baffled as to the chair at 0.25!!! Is that there for security, should His Holiness or the President de la Republique visit??? Or is it special pre-paid seat for Recit fanatics during Mass or the Auditions?

  • I'll go for the "Recit fanatics"! lol

I think i'm one of them! I love large and strong recit's with effective shutters!

  • Thanks so much for adding this!

  • wow! nice view!

  • The Récit's Hautbois 8' is so powerfull up there!!! (we see also the Contrebombarde in front of what there's a wall...)

  • Wonderfull!!! Love the clin d'oeil on the Principal (wood) 32'!!

  • There is nothing painted on the pipe. The dark area is a slot in the wooden face of the pipe that imparts a particular timbre and also serves as a location for the not visible tuning slide below.

  • I don't think I'd like to be that high LOL !

  • Is it Mendelssohn?

  • Yes -- a movement from Mendelsohn Sonata No. 2.

  • Do you working with this organ?

  • now that is a rare view!
