if tom daschle and bill richardson is obama's change, he can keep it.... im starting to think that the honeymoon is going come to end very soon between obama and the liberal media and i love it... so far obama has been nothing but a joke.. the only thing he as gotten right is his choose of Sec of state..
Hey, If the guy doesn't have the fortitude; A-ok,
Who believes that are capable?
Capability is manifesting leadership of spiritual fortitude, intellectual spectrum of os seeing the immantentual purpose of governance- aspects and facets; and the ability to stand fast; act diligently; and with the spirit of goodwill:
The civil servant corpus is ready and purposed to assist the political leadership with their tasks: The old cronyism of the Bush Adm is past history; No hacks.
I am a hardcore obama supporter but latelty he has been pissting me off. I know he wants bipartisaship but I get the feeling he is bending over for the republicunts to much with daschel and the stimulus bill and toture prosecution. I hope things turn around with him or otherwise i might as well lose hope.
I know. Obama needs to realize the Republicans want him to fail so that they can regain power in 2010 and 2012. He's being way to "hopey" right now, bless him. But this is no time to water-down is agenda when he has the good-fortune of having Democrats rule the house and congress.
Exactly habitualnightowl. I know obama wants to get everyone on board if the republicunts keep slapping him on the wrist then FUCK THEM THEN!! And besides if I wanted republican ideas i would have voted for mccain and that air head palin!!
I cant stand the republicans!!!!! Its like they have nop prblem pressing daschel to step down for some taxes when those hypocrites are doing worse things than that like totture or helping their rich buddies steal money etc and no opne is talking about it. Daschel didnt know that he had to pay those taxes and when he found out about it he did with intesrest. But leave it to the media to twist things around in favor of the republicunts!!
You Cons didn't force shit. What it comes down to is that after Geithner being on the hook for not paying taxes on everything he should've, it would've looked really bad for Obama if yet another tax evader - and Daschle owed a lot more than TG - were to get confirmed. Obama is clearly intent on setting a new tone and Daschle's problem was undermining everything so he had to off himself.
So you agree with me. If Daschle had moved ahead he and the obama administration would have beed attacked by the conservatives. I'm glad you see it my way and I'm proud we can be so helpful to obama. We're just helping obama keep his campaign promise of change. You can thank us later.
Obama doesn't need the 'help' of Republicunts to keep on the straight and narrow. It would be nice however if you worthless fucks stopped pouting and stonewalling the man since he is only trying his best to clean up the 8 yr mess Douche Inc. left us with.
Here's my conservative advice to obama, you and all of his supporters:
Obama must lower the hope-and-change rhetoric, ignore Reid/Pelosi, drop the therapy, and accept the tragic view that the world abroad is not misunderstood but quite dangerous. And he must listen on foreign policy to his National Security Advisor, Billary, and Sec. of Defense. He needs to quit the messianic style and perpetual campaign mode, and begin humbly governing.
WildRiverman, Your assigning Republican "perpetual campaign mode," of the Bush43 Admn whose governing "style" was 99% talking points and 1% governance to POTUS Obama is that very self-same zionism adopted by the neo-cons of accusing others what you guilty of.
As for "begin humbly governing"; you call arrogancy of neo-cons humble? It is only exceeded by the ignorance you manifest.
You mind your own party : reformation and leave the rest of Americans in peace!
There were the sermons on ethics, belied by the appointments of tax dodgers, crass lobbyists, and wheeler-dealers like Richardson-with the relish of the Blago tapes still to come. (And why does Richardson/Daschle go, but not Geithner?).
The "stimulus" (the euphemism for "borrow/print money" ) that was simply a way to go into debt for a generation to shower Democratic constituencies with cash.
There were the inflated lectures on historic foreign policy to be made by the clumsy political novice who trashed his own country and his predecessor in the most ungracious manner overseas to a censured Saudi-run press organ e.g., Bush is dictatorial, the Saudi king is courageous; Obama can mend bridges that America broke to aggrieved Muslims (apparently Tehran hostages, 9/11, Madrid, London never occurred.
He stepped down, thankfully. Not that I think he would have made it had he not. If there was any chance of him getting into power, he wouldn't have stepped down. Then again our Treasury Secretary didn't pay his taxes for a number of years that we know of. But it was an 'honest mistake' and because he's a democrat, a 'sincere' apology was enough for him to assume his position.
I think Daschle did the right thing. Sadly, this seems to be a pattern with the Obama choices. Do any politicians pay their taxes? Hell, I'm going to have to pay the IRS this year and I don't make a third of what some 1st term Congressman makes!!
Daschle is/was an embarassment to Obama and by only withdrawing his nomination now played right into the hands of the Republicunts. Why are all these rich fucks not paying their taxes anyway? Are these people not loaded enough as it is? Being in public service and trying to cheat the IRS is just stupid and will come to bite you in the ass as it just did little Tommy.
I wish Obama had nominated Hillary to take over health care. She spent a majority of her term as first lady pushing for universal health care. If anybody knows how to do it, it would be her. I would think.
of course the republicans make noise about everything, shouldn't listen to him. America needs someone like Daschle and that should be more important..
I think a person needs a little more experience in a certain field and getting things done than simply having served in Congress and on a particular committee for a while. Phill Gramm is no economic expert just b/c he's a Republican former politician who thinks he's smart on economics. All the CEOs and government economic regulators in McCain and Obama's "economic" teams were hardly qualified to set policy. It's just silly how partisan we've made this shit.
Does anyone else feel weirded out that Obama keeps nominating regular politicians to top Cabinet and agency posts? I mean, Janet Napolitano for DHS Secretary??? WHAT!? It was bad enough that the first Secretary was a governor, and we don't need just antoher governor. We need EXPERTS in these fields to lead these cabinet positions. Regular politicians are very rarely experts here. They just think they are b/c they served on a committee or passed some legislation. Daschle as hhs. ridiculous.
obama promised no lobyist for cabinet seats. That leaves only politicians. Lobyist are usually experts, politicians are just part of the same ol' same ol'. Some "change" we're getting...huh?
Politicians can be experts too. That's not the point here. Lobbyists are WHORES. At least with Bureaucrats and politicians there are some that are and some that aren't. But I'm sure anything short of paradise will elcit the same old bullshit line I hear from from all the haters/complainers "some change"
"Pass healthcare"?? wtf does that mean? What was he planning to do, cover another 100 million people under SCHIP and further bankrupt the gov't? Did he wanna use his HHS power to actually shove UHC down our throats?
Yes... you didn't know? They're gunna shove EVERYTHING down our throats. It's obvious they're going to take advantage of America's poor economic state to pass through 6 years of policies they couldn't touch. Open wide.
I won't defend these guys that somehow don't know how to file their taxes correctly but I do wonder where the hell were all these republican finger pointers when Teddy up in Alaska was found guilty of corruption? Or how about the fact that Norm Coleman is still under investigation for taking bribes?
The fact that your judgment is focused only toward members of the opposite party is pathetic and counter productive to the country.
if tom daschle and bill richardson is obama's change, he can keep it.... im starting to think that the honeymoon is going come to end very soon between obama and the liberal media and i love it... so far obama has been nothing but a joke.. the only thing he as gotten right is his choose of Sec of state..

New Republican definition for victory: "We derailed health and human services nominee! Yay for us! We rock!"
Not so much the house, senate, presidency, etc etc etc. But hey you got that HHS nominee good! Congratulations!
