@ZwinkyGirl122 It depends on the person. My dad can't open his eyes at all underwater without goggles, but my brother can under just fresh water along with my mom. Personally, I can open my eyes is fresh, salt, or chlorinated.
(A trick I learned for my brother: Use an eye dropper and fill it with milk. Then, right before you go into the saltwater, drop a few drops in each eye. It will be cold at first, but will not hurt you. In fact, it will help protect your eyes.)

those are sea lions. seals undulate, sea lions use their flippers for propulsion.
