Yes they are different, okay i try to explane, this week they told us on the radio that jimi hendrix was 'the best ever' and if i see this vid, i can't beleave that they say that. don't get me wrong, jimi is amazing, but there are more people that play the guitar as a real master. And everyone has his own opinion about it.
@ikrenzo haha true. yeah hes not the best ever, but he is a guitar legend, and fully deserves to be. Its not just all in the technical aspects. Hendrix was guitar master because of his songwriting, riffs, and innovations in playing and sound- in many ways like Joe Satriani. I dont believe that there is any 'one guitar master'- they are all different, and have thaeir strengths and weaknesses. My opinion is that MAB is the most technical guitarist, but his playing lacks depth and emotion.

@danielb592 this guy is much more technical than hendrix, hendrix was not on the same level for technical ability, this guy is outta this word man, he does things I never knew were possible, I think your wrong the the emotion bro, as from were I am standing this guy is showing mountains of emotion, and depth is most certainly their, depth comes from all different angles, when this guy is live, he takes U on a rollercoster of up and down emotions,
@UKToneKing Oh I completely agree with the technical aspect. I saw him play live at a clinic about three years ago and he completely blew me away- the videos dont really do him justice. Yeah, he does show emotion in his playing, but hes nowhere near the level of feeling which players like david gilmour and satriani integrate into their playing. This aside, Batio deserves to be on the same level as them- he is truly a guitar legend.
