@BlacnkangelPro i don't think the amp has anything to do with a guitar's sound, i think it's all in the effects used, also the guitars pick ups are the only thing that causes two guitars to sound vastly different

I'm not sure what the hype is o.0 he's ok. he plays the song fine. but when you guys are saying worlds best? not even close. It takes one to play a song and one to write. He doesnt hold a flame to names like steve vai, john pertucci,jimmy page, paul gilbert etc. while he may be better than most mainstream guitarists, he's not famous because 1. not a good personality, 2. no writing ability. or 3. doesnt want to.

actually he wrote some songs for his band if you want you can listen to it in their website , he played with taiwanese guitarist a few years and they've played a couple of gigs with other guitar geniuses , I'm not insulting you or anything but I think you know very little about this man and other guitarist who are not famous but as talented or maybe more talented than steve vai, john pertucci,jimmy page, paul gilbert etc

I must disagree with that it's mostly the amp that makes the sound. The mic's on the guitar is very important too!

Dependingt what mics you use you get very different sound. But still though, the amp is most important, but the mics is very important too to get a great sound

@BlackangelPro The Wood of the guitar is also a very important factor in sustained sound. The denser the wood the longer a note can be sustained. That's why I love my Les Paul it's one of the heavier guitars on the market and it's Mahogany body can keep a note twice as long as my Godin's lighter Silver leaf Maple body. Every thing in a guitar makes up the feel and sound of the guitar. Pick-ups are the most direct and obvious factor, but never count out Amp/Strings/Body/Tuners/Bridge­/etc.

@BlackangelPro If by "Mic" you mean the pickups, then yes, they're extremely important :) Without pickups there wouldn't be anything to "pick up" the sound and then you couldn't hear anything :) But as Ginjineko says he's not using an amp, at least not tho this :P I bet it's plugged into some device connected to his pc or mac :)

Very nice and clean, not saying i dislike the cool grungy sound that other composers use but its a bit hard to have such a clean sound and play, while having the soul in a grunge performancee is the same difficulty...sorry for the tangent...

Though i guess some of these comments saying "OMG UR SO GOOD UR THE BEST EVAR!!!1" are a bit over the top just to state...your very skilled but its all practice and time i guess....eventually or inevitably i will come to your level but with differences.

Some people hear it so they can hear the music a couple seconds a head so they don't mess up. That is why I do it anyway. My friend does it because it helps him only hear what he is doing. Helps him focus more.

We are not listening to the metronome or the playback through headphones.

We're not using amps.

Our guitar is connected to the PC and the guitar sound you play will come out from either headphones or speakers you connect to the PC.

It's called DTM recording.
