thats sweet man. is there a way to bluetooth it aswell?
i know with 3.0 it will be able to.
Also where did you buy the cable and how much was it?

Yes , i use bluetooth for handsfree function in the tomtom, it works ok up to about 100km/h, at 200 u can't hear a thing :-)
The cable is tomtom's original ipod-cable which can be little hard to find. I bought mine through online-store, check tomtoms homepage for a store.
But it all seems obsolete by now after tomtom's iphone annoncement at WWDC

Tomtom is now coming out for the iPhone so this nonsense (as cool as it is) will no longer be needed!

It uses the FM transmitter on the Tom Tom to play through the car stereo but I think the original music itself comes from the iphone. It's then transmitted to tom tom and played thorugh the car stereo.

Yep, that's point, having the iPhone working like an iPod to the Tomtom.
Music from iPhone will then be interrupted for driving instructions or a handsfree call coming over bluetooth from the iPhone.
yes i know that but DIEGOJOVEN was asking so I answered his question :P
