  • @zhelton03 almost as horrible as your spelling.

  • cool, dude! great play!

  • whys the sound fade in and out? and its like extra muted in parts. you did a great job playin it though, not the easiest to play

  • @jacknife10000 The camera I was using sucks, so the sound quality isn't the best. One of these days I'll get around to posting more videos in better quality though. But thanks dude! Appreciate the praise!

  • awesome job man

  • Awesome cover once again :D

btw, what's that on your finger, and what is it for? :o

  • @MrFaneh It's called a slide. It just adds a different style to your playing and changes the sound a little bit. They're real fun to use too

  • @toolfanatic462 Thanks :D

  • My Bad also what did u Tune it 2?

  • fixed bridge u play lead?

  • @FrankiethePirate813 not sure I understand your question?

  • @toolfanatic462 Usually (Not always) Lead plays a "Fixed Bridge" for "Palm Mute" Rythm play "Floating bridge" IMO it sounds better to have 2 different types,so i was jus wonderin if u played for fun or in a band? plus a "Fixed" is way easier to clean tune restring etc... Nice cover though bro

  • @toolfanatic462 he's asking if you play lead guitar.

  • good job keepin everything down man. good job welldone

I've wanted to learn this song for a few months, but since im using an acoustic guitar, the slides kinda suck :/

    Anyways, very nice work :D

    What guitar btw?

  • @MrFaneh It's a PRS SE Soapbar II

I love it, it's really a great guitar

  • dude, its over 6k views because its good!!! haha

  • almost perfect now play it backwards

  • for P90 pickups, that sounds brutal man. Great cover!

  • good cover.one of my favorit one so far.

  • Really fucking GOOD!

  • C# Standard , see live footage BILLY DOES NOT USES DROP TUNINGS

  • @Hausch13 Well, technically, if he's in C# Standard... He's drop tuned.. ha But yeah, he does use that tuning for a lot of his songs. Almost all of them. This is just the way I play it, and it sounds fine.

  • Nice sound =)

  • Many covers show it in Drop B but i'm pretty sure APC plays it in C# standard. I just can't figure out how to play the verse in C#

  • yeah i know. I think that's how he actually plays it.. But doing it in drop B is how i learned it. Maybe one of these days I'll get the drive to learn it the correct way... ha

  • maa ki chuuuuuuut

  • Great cover. Love the slide work.

  • ARGH... i cant figure out the solo at 3:03 T____T

  • amazing

  • Actually billy plays a perfect circle in C# standard

  • whats the tunning?is it drop c?

  • no its actually in drop b

  • c#5

    g#4

    e4

    b3

    f#3

    c#3

  • iight man appreciate it

  • hit me bak

  • yeah dude, once I get my amp back to my house I'll make a video. But right now it's at my drummers house and it's just easier to keep it there for practice.

  • hey man im a huge tool fan also i saw them in fairfax a month ago but im tryin to learn to play this on guitar but im having troubles...can u make a tutorial for me

  • sounds good bro.

  • very good .this is awesome

  • Really nice playing!!!!

  • Thank you, I appreciate it!!

  • nice dude, i was wondering if i could this song with u, i'll sned u the vid and u make our vids a split screen, and maybe we can get a drummer and someone to sing too?

  • What tuning are you in... nice sound btw

  • from lowest to highest:

    B

    F#

    B

    E

    G#

    C#

  • what gauge strings do you use i use 12-56 erine ball strings

  • I use D'addario strings. But honestly i switch through guages alot. usually I use 10's. and i tend to get Nickel wound strings. They are play pretty nice. and they have a good ring to them.

  • drop b is the tuning

  • yep

  • Are prs guitars expensive? Yours seems good, how much was it?

  • it depends on which one you get. I just got the SE series which are the cheaper of PRS guitars. but the one i got now is about 400-500..

  • fucking nice!

    props man.

do you know where i might find accurate tabs?

  • dude this is awesome, im gonna learn that song, you did it perfect!!

  • Never thought of using a slide on the 2nd finger. I'll have to try that. I always do it with the 3rd. I Like your way because you dont have to put it down. Love the cover btw. Keep it sick.

  • Great job man, I love Judith...and I love Billy Howerdel...you could be like him!

  • hey great video, your tone is damn good and you nailed the slide parts. good job.

  • what is that metal thing you are using?

  • its a slide. its what billy uses durring those little leads, but he uses a glass slide..

  • awesome man!!! what guitar? is that a PRS SE soapbar?

  • thanks! and yeah it is. i absolutly love it. I will never settle for anything other than a PRS. They are, in my opinion, the best out there.

  • i know, im planning to trade my schecter for that, hows the sustain of that axe though? @ less than $500 im sure it give more bang for the buck.

  • i love it. its perfect for me. im more of a rhythm guitarist and it definitely fulfills my needs. i highly recomend it, its a great guitar.

  • nice prs bro, how does it sound like??... chekout mines, its a modifyed SZ with a allnico pro (neck) and a SD (bridge) it has like a lot of xlearly tone with punchy tone too... love prs too, would like a mccarty or a custom 22... btw sick ass cover bro =]

  • In the music video on urs for 1:52 well on the music video he like makes the WEEwoo more higher. i play guitar and im ok but u know not sure if thats how he plays it and its just his amp.

  • i know what your talking about. He's using an octave pedal, which makes that part more high pitch.

  • nice cover, i cant wait to learn this song and get a slider haha

  • i wish that we can see all people here comment and do there own cover most of them i bet doesn't event play guitar! nice work man whatever other people

  • i agree. but thanks dude.

  • awesome dude i think you play this song very good, this is a hard song because all the guitar effects i think this is the best cover i have seen so far

  • thanks dude. appreciate the comment

  • not bad man. pretty good actually. too bad a perfect circle arent that well known though. there a sick band.

  • tool does tune drop D AND drop B! but they have a sick drummer and bassist who carry the whole rhythm PLUS lyrics that make you think, ideas that are psychologically driven and based on actual theories of science so it brings a whole new aspect, where if you have read into the stuff they write about you can follow along. 'judith' is the same way its about maynards mom who was paralyzed and the song is taking to her "fuck your god" "he did this" "took all you had and left u this way" it goes on.

  • a few mistakes? a perfect circle is not NU METAL theyre not "DROP D" they have a little more talent than that. your whole video is one big mistake BECAUSE they tune 1 and a half steps down just like black sabbath on VOL4 and SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH. it gives you a whole new sound. dont take it personal your tone is good but i guarantee if you tune correctly and learn it youll sound A LOT better. so down tune and ROCK THE FUCK OUT!!!!!

  • the mars volta fan, sick. As for drop d, tool tunes in drop d. 'Nuff said. Also, his tuning isnt that far off, considering he said he tuned in drop b

  • the tuning isn't off at all. Dropping E one and a half steps down to C# (JUST LIKE BLACK SABBATH ON VOL4!!!11!!) is exactly what he did, only he dropped the lowest string down a whole step to drop B.

Thanks for the summary of a few wikipedia articles, but so far you've only made a fool of yourself, and discredited any opinion you could ever give on "talent", "tone", or "ACTUAL scientific theories".

You make me hate tool fans.

  • wiki articles? as a matter of fact i boycott wiki because of the disinformation. scientific theory? im talkin bout ROCK N ROLL not composing a fucken masterpiece. i learned to play by ear and just WATCHING people play—no lessons, EVER! so of course im not speaking from a theorized or highly educated point of view. but check out my videos, all from ear. and "the tuning isn't off at all." yes it is the tuning is standard one and a half steps down. he has his low string to B. your statements wrong.
