It's not that this is TOO hard for me, although it is pretty challenging (kudos for that) but I get too frustrated at the game when I get caught on accident and have to restart.

Definitely impressive gameplay, by far the most impressive I've witnessed. I've never been able to trick the patrols and how the AI responds like this video portrays. My gameplay technique takes considerably half the time he takes, but I crawl and veer as far away from enemy patrols as possible and tranq the ones in the way using face camo with the octo camo. You just earned a sub brother, keep up the vids!!! : ) : ) : )

there is something i dont get!! u can run through before the tank arrives however when i get inside the room a scene shows up of the tank coming and i cant skip it!! so everytime i start running again AFTER the tank arrives with the lovely extra soldiers! how do u go through like that without the scene interrupting u ?!

I tried ur Militia Safe House method, and after i got rid of the first guard...i got a problem....i shot one shot to trigger caution and then entered the room,holding up first two guards near the entrance just like u did .but soon i realized that the third guard wasnt at the same point as in your case.....would u tell me the tips to get rid of this part?

You need to fire quite late to cause them to move. There is a certain distance within which the 2 guards can hear the gunshot. Strange, yes, but that's the AI for you.

on the part where you slowly walk past the ledge when you go through the collapsed building i usually just do a roll over where you have to climb up and automatically hang over the ledge and go across it usually saves me about 3 seconds just a tip good work btw

Because there was no alert box? That's all that matters. He didn't get an alert because this is sort of a "chaos mode". These alerts don't count for the same reason you're not in an alert mode for every boss fight, Frog fight, bike chase, etc.

I Need To Know, i bought the RENTEL of Metal Gear Solid 4 and im getting the real game soon my plan is to get the stealth camo so i have to get no alert phases but if i continue on my save on the rentel and i got 4 alert phases on the rentel does that still effect my run on NO alerts? because i saved on mountain trail in the rentel and i dont want to start over cause i hate act 2!!!! Yes it will. It makes no difference. Unfortunately you'll have to revert to a save before you gained your first alert.

Perhaps you left it on the install screen longer than required? I'm not sure. I would recommend you save your game just after the Act: End results screen. You could revert back to an old save if you have one.

is it possible to save a second when you shoot the second wall in RZ NW? I never got a chance to ask cosmos or jinguji because naturally it seemed like it would yield the same result. It's actually not as consistent of a method, too. Sometimes the PMCs would call "Gunshot!" instead of "we're under attack."

you had great effort creating this gameplay and i am sure it is one of the highly tuned gameplays around but i am criticising how the game looks from a watchers point of view , this game was approved by all media critics but still looks awkward when played by an extreme gamer. If you had created an uncharted speed run game play , it would definitely amaze anyone watching it.

I take it you mean the Red Zone @ 1:44? You need to shoot quite close to the first guard. The further down the road, then the greater the chances of alerting the 2 at the end.

Normal runs? I only use Auto-Aim in the places shown in my vids.

I prefer 3rd person view because you can shoot on the run as well.

My favourite weapon is probably the Solar Gun. It's great fun to use & very versatile. I also like the M82A2 Sniper Rifle.

I'm very sorry to bother you with this; but, when I attempt your technique in the Red Zone, I am unable to cause the guards in the north to scatter and I end up being caught by a guard. I think this guard is the guard stationed adjacent to the second door of the ruin. I am uncertain whether it is the noise from tyhen cqc slam. I am very slow with the stun knife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations on your run you are a very talented player who deseves all the applause you get.

no you have not answered this anywhere in this thread .. i think this is the same area im having difficulty in .. the gaurds at the end of the road are already gonewhen you round the corner .. yet what could you possibly be doing i couldnt know to save my life .. was it something to do with the previous section maybe .. although i think i did it just like you .. 4:21 is my save time after the first area .. barrel and bumping guard i figured out .. next section .. cant scatter guards ..

It does count the time between saves. After the first save (assuming your first save is when he exits the first section), you have to run to the next section as the resistance member is waiting there. The time taken for you to reach him is the time added.

Practice &/or use easier alternatives. CQC is very reliable. Don't plan to shoot too fast either. Shoot only when you're convinced you have the shot lined up.
