The BMW 7 series and the other ones.. S-class and A8. All still reminisce that boxy shape. And has done for years. The XJ is the car that actually has decent lines, and actually has a curved stance.
If an XJ was driving down the street it would attract ALOT of attention, for any of the above mentioned on the other hand.. people look at them as common uniform cars. Nothing has the stance of this new XJ. This is even better than the Quattroporte.
Good looking and nice features.. But wont be able to compete to S class, 7 series or A8! They have upgraded their models with better fuel economy, better gadgets, better looking and above all they are Merc, BMW & Audi!

Better gadgets? Since when is a totally graphic interface and Bowers and Wilkins sound system not good gadgets? This cars stereo system could flip a BMW over with its volume. And no, no, all those cars, especially the S-Class, are vulgar, barely changed from year to year, and they all literally look the same.

@Southiedesi No, strangly enough Jaguars symbol is a Jaguar, not a Tiger - Jaguars are from the Americas and are not found in the Indian subcontinent, except perhaps in a zoo.
I brought one 2 months ago as my back to being single again present. My ex hates the attention I get when I hit the South beach Miami club scene with it. I guess she wants me to be miserable. I had to get one, reason being this is the last car they say will save Jaguar from going under if the sales are successful
I'm affraid I prefer the looks of the Citroen Metropolis.... It's the same class, a bit longer than the new audi A8 and it is absolutely breathtaking... They have posted nice videos on youtube, go take look : just hit " Citroen Metropolis" on the search bar and you get a HD Video, you'll see... ; )

My view is that the Jag XJ, currently has the most original shape of the large luxo-barges. However the headlights make the car appear to be asleep.
For me the most appealing shape is the BMW 7 Series. It resembles a lion and we all know the lion is a king!
