The pilot of the jet, a Czech jet trainer L-39, went to jail for this. Supposedly he did it to promote a movie he was producing and now he is also facing civil charges for defrauding investors of that same movie.

There are already enough people who whine about the airplane noise in Los Angeles, as a local pilot in Santa Monica we don't need this idiot. If you want to see this stuff support your local airport and airshow, or get your pilot's license and go scud run the desert yourself.
