i went to the rift site, scrolled down and clicked the "check if your pc will run this" link. after i went through the whole process, it said it passed the minimus and recomended by a lot. Yet when i play the game, my fps is barely 30 when just the shadows are on enviroment and everything else settings wise is low/off. why is this? it seems as if it should be running better...
i got invited to rift beta 4 but i never noticed in my email now i got invited to beta 5 but the computer is taking forever to update it say it will take 30 hours
@xbots27 Graphically, it is somewhat similar to WoW, albeit with much better textures / not looking like an N64 game. As far as repetitiousness goes, the world changes constantly due to rifts and tears, and you only have to level up 4 characters as you can completely respec them to any combination of healer mage rogue or warrior you choose. Wow has what, 10 classes? this has 24 (i believe: 6 in each) different classes that can be combined within the main class however you choose.
Yea this game is to good and TRION worked way to hard to have it be a F2p or B2p game. Besides F2P games end up costing way more then P2P games anyways. Great vid by the way.

ROFL if you really think you don't pay more in the long run for a F2P game your just in denial or ignorant. ONLY way a F2P game doesn't come out more or the same is if you choose not to purchase any of the cash shop stuff or any other extra items, in which case you are not playing the game to its fullest potential. Anyways Kiddie it's OK you keep playing your F2P games and I will keep playing my P2P games, I'd rather not have kids like you ruining a P2P games community ;p

Most adults who play MMO's do have lives, quite good ones at that. I'm happily married, both my wife and I have good jobs, we go OUTSIDE "OMG yes I said OUTSIDE" .

Did you get a chance to try out the shadow stalker pet? It should have been attainable in beta 4 but I forgot to test it and can't find any info on it.
this is the lowest lvl instance not the 1st the guardiian factions instance means that for them its 1st but for difiants it may be 2nd due to haveing to go into the other factions territory deep to try it...
also at lvl 20 you can 3 man it well i can =) GL HF rift 4 live bitches

lol this looks like a bootleg version of wow. Nicely done though but wow dungeons look much better. This looks so boring and repetitive.
