  • This is gay. Real ipsc can be done in china right? unlike in japan

  • @kontknager no....believe it or not..the US is the only country that lets its people bear arms...japan didnt let its people bear arms but some avid gun collectors made airsoft to bypass the laws..this group of people is what is today known as Tokyo Marui..and this is Hong Kong...LEARN YOUR COUNTRIES DAMN IT!

  • very great level! compliments!

  • hi

    hsdjkhjkdf

  • So guys I got an airsoft rifle and a pistol for my birthday this week, MIA gave me a test cert proving my rifle is under 1 joule, dont believe |I got one for my pistol though,

Can anyone tell me is there anything else I need to do?... licensing or whatever?..

  • very very great. which brands are best pistol for IPSC practice races?

    thanks

  • MARUI is good choice for airsoft ipsc

  • @joelauipsc

yeah but western arms is good too

  • 1:29 looks pretty beast!

  • this music in Matrix soundtrack

  • I see that competitors just let the magazines drop to the ground like you would with a real Glock. Does dropping the gas mags like that damage them?

  • dropping the magazine on floor wont damage the mag. noramlly ,because most of ipsc shooing club have soft floor to prevent damage

  • he uses airsoft guns, although hes a lil spoiled =p first gun was a 600 dollar speed racer

  • wonder wt round they use in this competition. seems like the gun is acting with no recoil at all

  • 6mm plastic round. (BB) hahaha...

  • Well... there is a difference with IPSC Airsoft vs. Real Bullets....

The targets in Airsoft are about 3/5 smaller than real guns ... for obvious reasons.

  • Ya, the airsofters whoop the arrogant "real steel" shooters in practical shooting.

  • @PimpSlapNoJutsu maybe thats because there's no "real" recoil to account for

  • wont the magazine break if you drop it lol or is it sturdy enough to withstand the fall

  • Are you trying to be funny?

  • no, a question out of curiosity. because at 0.50, and1.13 they're dropping their mags

  • Mags CAN take damage, but generally will survive so long as they aren't dropped on the feeding lip (the top part) or onto concrete/rock/etc with force. If you're a professional, dropping them is fine because you can afford to replace them. For the casual user, I'd recommend a drop bag (same goes for actual gunsdon't drop them if you don't need toa magazine failure always happens at the worst possible time).

  • are you trying to be funny as well?

  • You apparently are. Someone asked a question, I was trying to answer it in a helpful manner.

  • O.K. you got me.

  • thankyou for that very well explained answer, very much appreciated

  • I personally have a small dump pouch on the front of my vest when I go pistol only. When I reload, I drop the mag into the pouch like a standard empty reload.

Very speedy reloads without actually dropping the mag on the floor or having to stuff it into your gear.

  • i really want to do airsoft ipsc but its soooo expensive

  • I'm pretty sure anyone could make do with just a simple gas blowback handgun, the extra stuff isn't too important I suppose.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha i luv it

  • Ah... you guys do realize this is the airsoft version of the sport and talk about calibers is completely irrelevant to this video... just in case you doubt me look at the lack of ear protection and muzzle flash (while I know muzzle flash doesn't always occur during firing it doesn't occur once) you can see the gas exiting the gun barrel.

  • please dont forget that the winner of the last world pistol comp was japanese and he used airsoft pistols as his training weapons. IMO this is better training for pistols. It helps you get the motions down w/out risk of injury.

  • agreed

  • Not to mention not needing a certified range, ear protection, and being hella cheaper.

  • what world competition is that? is that an IPSC or IDPA? I dont believe that he only practice airsoft. You can never practice using airsoft and compete with live gun competition. He surely practiced a combination of both. He could have used airsoft for the movement purposes. But for accuracy and handling, he surely used a true pistol.

  • Tatsuya Sakai, look it up. Pistols are illegal in Japan. He trains soley w/ airsoft pistols and transfers his skill over to real steel.

  • its hong kong

  • Tatsuya Sakai is 2004 World Steel Challenge Champion.

  • меры безопастности не соблюдаются (защита глаз) а так бодренько

  • thats really cool

  • yes folks its airsoft well done for spotting that, you fuckin geniuses can spot they are not real firearms then comment on the superiority of real firearms over toys...fuck why waste your time on youtube with comments you should apply for nasa

  • 'love that guy wearing STI shirt shooting fag toys

  • those crazy chinese

  • hmmm give them a real gun and a few days later the city would be clean! jokes but really thats pretty siick

  • WHOA Those must have a vicious recoil !

  • woah @ 1:53

    these guys are good

  • Hmm, the guy shooting prone at around 0:38 could work on his technique to get prone and shooting from the ground. I know its airsoft and not real pistols, but Todd Jarrett would advise holding the pistol firm to the ground for increased stability.

  • Awesome video! This is just what I was looking for. Definitely favorited and subscribing!

  • What kind of holsters do they have where they will hold a gun with a dot sight?

  • those holsters we call speed holster, for action shooting (eg:ipsc , uspsa...)

  • Who makes those holsters?

  • Many companies.

I use a CR SPEED holster. But there is also Ghost, Safariland and a host of others

  • should just use those new pressure release holsters the cops and soldiers use nowadays

  • yes you can! but the Duty holster is little bit slower than speed holster to draw the gun.

  • NO they should not as it would be slower.

  • my point was to make this competition even harder, maybe even a little more realistic, they should use lgitimate holsters, not these speed draw ones.

  • i love gas blow backs i also have a lot of GBB and you have a nice team

  • ever think of shooting a 9mm,38 super or 40sw or 45acp? bet you that you will need practice if you do more recoil

  • you're right, it must need more practice! i was shot 9mm , .38 super, and .40 modify.

  • In your opinion which is better a TM HI capa or a WA Hi capa? TM comes with plastic parts but they have good internal parts and you can always upgrade

  • I would say Marui only because their slightly more cost effective. WA has great 1911-framed pistols, I own 2, but I know a few owners of the marui hicapa that love them to death... and if my TM p226 is any indication of marui's new pistols, there outstanding. (and $80 cheaper)

  • TM HI capa is better i think! it is accuracy and stable when it comes.

  • I really hope we never have to play it this way in Canada..

Nice vid and all.........but it is also very sad.

  • What's wrong with this, if you don't mind me asking? It looks pretty fun to me.

  • As I said it looks like fun. However it is also an indication that IPSC with REAL steel is not allowed there. That is the sad part about it.

IPSC is based on DVC (Accuracy POWER and Speed).

With airsoft IPSC there is ZERO power so it is not really IPSC then is it?

That said in places where real guns are not allowed it is the best they can do.

Right now I am fighting tooth and nail in Canada to keep real guns.

  • Should we fail and the libtards take our guns I do not doubt that I will end up shooting Airsoft IPSC.

In the meantime......I can only hope that I and more importantly my kids will never have too.

  • dvc- deligentia vis celeritas - accuracyPOWERspeed

  • So that's why they all use the same looking 1911's. The .45 may be a larger round, but the idea of stopping power is about a true as extraterrestrials.

  • I am not sure I understand what you are saying.

The .45 acp round has CONSIDERABLY more stopping power than 9mm or .40 round for that matter.

  • "stopping power" is a completely unproved theory. You would think a .30-06 would have more stopping power than most other rifles, right? Well, my uncle, a Korean War vet, watched a Chinese soldier get hit 3 times in the chest with a .30-06, and he continued to run 50 yards before collapsing. A state trooper was killed after 4 .357 magnum rounds failed to "stop" his assailant, even when all 4 rounds hit the assailant's torso. Stopping power my foot. Shot placement is the only thing that matters.

  • You can always bring up individual instances that "might" promote an alternate theory.

However it is simply a matter of physics.

a 30-06 has PLENTY more power than a modern .223 round.

I have shot deer with a .50 black powder and seen them run up to 100 yards.

WITH NO HEART as I shot it away!

It is adrenalin that accounts for it.

Shot placmeent is vital of course but with all things being equal the ENERGY imparted to the target is an important component.

  • But the energy imparted on the target will be roughly the same energy imparted on the shooter, per Newton's Third Law of Motion. I have yet to get knocked off my feet by my Mosin ;)

  • Did I say anything about people getting knocked off their feet?

Nope.......totally different argument. One I am certain we would agree on. My mossin 1891 (hex reciever) comes close some times mind you.

The POWER in IPSC is roughly a measure of muzzle engergy as it is the mass of the bullet multiplied by the speed of the bullet.

Thus small (minor) rounds are downgraded in score as they would be easier to shoot.

  • Is 9mm in the category of "minor" rounds?

  • Yes 9mm is the most popular minor round. It dominates the production division.

Both of my kids shoot 9mm Glock G17s in Production division (well until tomorrow that is.......Santa is coming you know).

I shoot .40 (major) out of a Tanfoglio Limited Custom but only for the past year. Before that I ran a 1911 in .45 acp.

  • How much is the score downgraded? I'd like to get a Rock Island 1911, but me being a poor college student without a job, I'd be better off using my dad's P99.

  • I can't see the target"

  • This is the best airsoft video I've seen! It looks like a lot of fun. :)

  • what pistols do they use?

  • MARUI HI-CAPA custom and WA HI-CAP custom , both a 1911 system.

  • jimmy2119 buys cheap counterfeit Airsoft pistols made in Indonesia.

  • That is so cool!!!
