I just watched this movie I bought it a few days ago. It was excellent. I really love old movies and I adored Don Ameche in this movie. He was so amazing and handsome. I really loved Betty Grable as well. The two had such a great chemistry together. It was a funny movie and definitely worth watching.
Look at em having a good time, too drunk and wise enough not to drive. Just laying around like seals trying to sleep it off. The women did'nt even have to worry about a man trying to mess with ya while napping, cause they were gentlemen. Honey, those good ole days are replaced with stuff today that I wont even bother typing here. I wanted to say that I just enjoyed this "Moon over Miami" Thanks for posting.
To Lizzyvance: "You Started Something" --- it's GREAT! It would be fun to sing. My mom grew up in Los Angeles and went to school with Don Ameche's sister at Catholic Girl's High School (now Bishop Conaty). I miss my mom.
Thats cool. As far as I can remeber I have loved old movies. My mom would even take me to the plays that do old movies to. I pretty much like alot of stuff old. But its funny.. I go I like old movies music ect.. My friends would say I like Maddona or Pretty In Pink. Im 21.. I dont really consider thoes too old. My mom got me interrested in it. I got West Side Story free. I wonted it so he just gave it to me. She was saying she would pay but he refused. I LOVE SONGS LIKE THIS
I love this movie i only saw it once and would love to see the whole movie again who dose garbles character end up with? i cant remember I'm only 27 I'm old ha ha my cousin Say's I'm a nerd for loving old movies and big band music but a lot of movies and music are better then the ones we have now sorry for my lone storey
To patchemissy: Betty Grable ends up with Don Ameche and her sister ends up with Bob Cummings. I love all the old movies, but this one is really cute.
this is the best grable clip; she looks stylish here and the song is good, she always looked a bit cheap...but here she goes a little in the hayworth-league...

My favorite is the opening number in the drive-in:
"Mornin' friend, we recommend
Blue Plate #2
Our food is the best in the whole Southwest
What can I get for you?"
And right after that, they're off for Miami in hopes of landing a rich man to set them all up in comfort.
(Charlotte Greenwood and Jack Haley's duet is excellent too.)
