Ok, here's the deal... I hope you don't take this by offense because it is not my intention.
If you only study piano for two years, you really shouldn't be playing the Scherzi. Right now, you should be playing lots of Czerny, lots of Clementi, lots of Hanon and lots of Kv. 545-like. You should have the ability to be humble enough not to play these things because you are not ready.
I dont really want to disagree with you but, i think he has every right ti play what he wants, be it a hard piece or not, if he can play it then he has a good technique, and if neccesarry and if he wants he will shape it playing easier pieces or do lots of exercises, but just because he starts playing the Scherzo n 1 doesnt mean he isnt Humble first of all, let him play what he wants its his decision also Piano is all about practice, you never are ready for a piece (be it easy or hard)
Ok. When I had 2 years of piano I tried to play the second scherzo, but it didn't go far from there: trying and reading it, because with 2 years of piano playing, it is impossible for most people to play any of the scherzi.
And yes, piano is about practice, but it is also about wisdom, and IMO, the choice of playing the first scherzo with 2 years of piano is not wise. In a few years he will be able (I'm sure) to play it wonderfully.
I hear some good things in here. Especially for 2 years+ this is fantastic and you should be proud. However, I would continue to work on your technique perhaps before tackling such big works! Really though, I'm extremely impressed with what you've done for how much time you've had. Keep it up. (Careful you dont muddle your pedal!)

Perhaps you're not quite ready yet to perform this scherzo that's all. Also I don't think the accoustics in your room help the overall sound. Keep up the good work.

Stop playing romantic music. You throw in flourishes and body language trying to be in the music but you just look like a pretentious jackass
Don't play the slow section so carelessly. Treat every note delicately and stop moving around trying to be expressive. You have horrible phrasing and rely so much on the pedal.
It's obvious that you don't know how to play romantic music and it's much than "just a few mistakes here and there."
...I'm sorry I get back to you only now...but I've just stopped laughing my heart out for what you wrote..and now...I have to go...can't refrain to laugh again!!! If I should have a heart attack from laughing you would be responsible!!!!

Notes need more work,but this pianist has good musicianship potential.
maybe you have improved this since April 2007.

Of course it's not a very easy piece and for only two years and a few months an awesome performance.
One advice: I think you should play the melody of the descant clearer and louder.
