Nobody seems to know that shotguns result in a damage reduction to the tank. It's annoying when everyone's using a tactical shotgun and I'm like, "ASSAULT RIFLE PLOX" and they're like, "GTFO NOOB" then kicks me for using a rifle against the tank. Mod is still OP, infinite shotgun rounds with 30 per clip gives you a slight edge in crowd control. Juuuust slight.

@koolee97 shotgun is better against the tank if you get close enough xD, and yes it's OP but atleast it doesn't work in multiplayer.

Can you come up with a mod that makes each pellet in a shotgun round a grenade instead? If not how about making a mod so that the pistols shoot grenade rounds?

@battlehenge4 only the grenade launcher can shoot grenades as far as i'm aware but i can modify that to be a pistol, not sure if i can make it into a shotgun. i'll try get around to it next month but i'm a little busy with my game and other mods i'm working on.

@YTMike2010 you need gcfscape to open vpk's, then all the files you can mod are in pak01_dir.vpk in the left4dead2 folder. you also need a shortcut to vpk.exe in your bin folder. there's a wiki on how to make a map vpk, mods are pretty much the same.

@Mrmikko102 totally forgot about this video, my hard drive died so it's gone but can easily be reproduced. i'd do it again and upload it but the vpk replaces a text file so online isn't possible unless it comes bundled with a custom map. so if someone makes a map and wants this mod in it i'd be happy to make it for them.

if you just want it for offline pm me and i'll upload it for you :)
