Your machine sounds great. I grew up with one of these then move on to a MF410 then moved back to a JD45. Always carry a broom. did you underseed the field with alfalfa?

I have a 1954 No. 45 in amazing condition and it´s the only survivor No. 45 here in Sweden!!!

Mine must be newer as the steering wheel has the clear JD round cap and solid bakelite,

your's look's like a pre 60,

still really cool combines thjough,

thats the coolest thing iv ever seen iv been helpen farmers 4 18 years now and i think thats the coolest thing i would defenetly LOVE 2 take it 4 a round u know it runs the same as todays combines in threw the feeder to the roter then the wind then the sivs and out the back end i LUV this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
