  • looks good

  • Does anyone know what leaves he used and what went in after the lemongrass?

  • @MaxSk8rr kaffir lime leaves

  • Thanks so much for cooking Southeast Asian dishes! I'm so inspired to cook now.

  • Show tutorial on how to make mee kahtang?cause i wanna learn how to make it.

  • Okay, so what did I do wrong? I tried the recipe which was okay in flavour but the lemongrass was not eatable. I removed the end part of it and the root and peeled off like one outer layer and the rest i cut into similar pieces as the video. I added it together with the ginger to fry cause I thought it might not cook otherwise.. I left it to simmer for long under a lid.. but still the lemongrass was hard =/

  • @nalanuss in this dish, like in most dishes, lemongrass is for flavoring only. cambodians use it in most of our dishes too and often we do not eat it unless it's been grounded to small pieces. once cooked, we either remove it completely from the dish. if we leave it in there, it's maybe to get the aroma but we don't eat it. hope this helps

  • @kownkhmer1

Thank you for the reply! Then I didnt do anything wrong, except trying to eat the hard grass ;) now i know for next time to remove it before eating

  • Kai you are the best cooker, it easy to learn how to cook from you,you talk less, you described in detail about intergredient by writting, you could make funny , excellent Kai, but sorry never see U , thank kai, now i could cook some food from you.:)

  • Kaffir lime leaves is it?

  • So Kai, Is this more of a "ghang" (soup) or is it "khoua" (stirfry)?

  • lemongrass is commonly used in Thai, Lao, and CAMBODIAN food you forgot to mention in CAMBODIAN food too....

  • hello

  • hello

  • You are cool Itkman!

  • Also, what is the name of the leaves you used?

  • What is that onion like vegetable and the sauce you used? I wasn't able to catch the name of the sauce on the bottle. Thanks!

  • Really good added Green onions, a few red pepers and a medium onion... ooo sooo good!

  • I bet it smelled so good in your kitchen when you were cooking that! Thanks for the great video Kai!

  • i think its because of the chicken skin, it adds a little more oil into the dish.

  • i think its not that oily, mostly because of the sauce. In the beinning he used very little oil.

  • very oily

  • could u use pork instead of chicken?
