Addendum to below post: Another reason why this clip would never have been shown in theaters is that the term "SOB" either in letters or spelled out or any variation such as "son-a-gun" would not have made it past the censors. I'm sure Mel Blanc got a kick out of doing this particular line.

Just for the record. This cartoon was never released to the theaters. It was part of a "blooper" reel of take-outs from Warner Brother films. These clips contained mistakes or flubs of dialogue by actors. They were edited out of the print and kept, rather than thrown away. They were usually shown at private screenings of studio parties. Somebody obviously felt that Porky should be inc,luded. The clip dates back to late Thirties or early Forties. Notice there is no color.

These cartoons were shown before feature films, which means they would be shown at night... Not to mention, this particular sketch was made only for the studio workers as a little joke.
