My master is Dr. Kenneth Wu in Red Deer, Canada. Though he was not the one that taught me these particular forms. He taught me the fundamentals of the art, he's kinda retired now so I am learning different things on my own for now. Shaolin is our style, but I wanted to investigate the northern style more. Thank you for your comments, I train often and try to do my best. I too, enjoy watching what others have achieved in martial arts. Do you or your club have any videos I could watch?
I am confused you said your style is Shaolin and this is a northern form...Do you study southern Shaolin then? (Sim Lum Pai). Because most "Northern" forms come from the Shaolin Hunan Temple. Great form and expression BTW.
I study many things. I have studied Northern Shaolin the most, but I am also learning Wing Chun, and Hung Gar on the side. All martial arts help add a piece to the puzzle. Thank you for your nice comments, I have been practising for some time and this particular video is about two years old now.
Hi, I'm curious who is your master and where you practice kungfu. I'm from Spain and perform the same forms you have uploaded. All the empty hand forms and same for the weapons.
My master, Carlos Moreira, was a disciple of grandmaster Chan Kowk Wai back in Brazil, now is the director of the wushu institute in Barcelona created by master Lam Chuem Ping in 1986.
By the way, congratulations for the videos, it's great to find people over the world practicing the same styles and forms.
Beautifully done! Thanks for posting this because I lost a couple pieces of this set and by watching you I got it all back. Be well.
