Tattoos do hurt. But it's not like you are being forced to do it. you are choosing to ink yourself. If you don't think you can handle the pain then don't bother getting it done. I kinda liked my tattoo getting done. just be sure you know what you want and it's something you will love. it's for life....well you can laser it off but it hurts more than getting the tat done.

It does hurt but will go numb to an extent after awhile. Everyone registers pain differently some people feel more pain during tattoos than others. Just as different people think different spots hurt worse. For ex: I have 15 tattoos and honestly the one that hurt the worst was my lower back which isn't common for most people.

You are going to feel something. For me (i just got a lower back tattoo a few days ago) the outline honestly felt like a tiny cat scratch, but it felt good. I was talking and texting throughout the whole outline process. But the shading was worse. The closer that the needle got to the base of my spine, it felt like a very deep, burn. I was more ticklish than I was in pain though.

it hurts, but not that bad. What I will say is its bearable. I got mine on my wrist, everyone told me it was going to hurt and was a bad place for the first tattoo, but I was perfectly fine. Actually 10 minutes after the tattoo was finished I knew it wasn't my last tattoo. It feels like something hot running over your arm. If you have ever dropped wax on your arm or hand, finger it kinda has that warmth to it. This was at least for me everyone is different.
