Huh? Pittsburgh is no where near the Canadian border. I believe these towers are located in Buffalo & Detroit & were erected to detect illegal river traffic from Canada. In reality the pension funds at Chrysler are quite strong and over 92% funded at Dec 31 2008. Chrysler pension fund managers never got into any risky investments and are quite boring to look at. Even in Chapter 7 the recipients will still get 90-95% of their pension for life. There is however a real problem at GM whose funds are very underfunded as of Dec 31 2008. This is a BIG problem gievn the number of employees and retirees they have.
