  • your car is a piece of shit i wouldn't help you either

  • so what dose the fact that your a woman got to do with getting your car fix? if you want to learn more about car repair read a fucking book. fyi there is no such thing as dealership parts there all aftermarket. got to ford and ask for brake pads and you get a box of pads made by mastercraft.

  • women don't need to drive anyways they just need to do there job clean cook and take care of the man and kidds.Im not trying to pisss off women thats just how it is.

  • they problably asked her is she wants "oem replacement" and she thought that was oem

  • Airpark Auto Service did my truck featured on my vid, they did an awesome job

  • I still don't get how Maaco is still in business.

  • Each Maaco is independently owned. Sadly many locations are crooked, like the one in Ventura, CA. Quote one thing over the phone, another when you show up. They want to charge you $800 for a cheap one stage spray which should be no more than $200.

  • @wingfeathers00 maaco is good for quick splash paint jobs for people who dont wanna spend alot of money . You get what you pay for. By the way 200 bucks is barely enough for the poaint laone these days plus other matyerials and labour... 800 bux is not bad at all . Wow people are so ignorant to paint and body work.

  • @tuberyder69 $200 buys plenty of paint - enough for Maaco to do a basic spray on 6 different cars. Sure we are talking basic paint that will only last a few years, but for the average Joe, that is how long their car will last. For example, the car I drive is worth $500 wholesale. Do you think I want top dollar paint? No. I want a shine for a few years. Nobody expects a showcar finish from Maaco, they just want a fair price. $800 for a basic spray is a RIP OFF.

  • YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT THE CORRECT PART IN THE CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE.

  • Ah, miss Fox10 so much, good ol' Rick D'Amico. Honestly, I've heard a lot of crap about Maaco, but this report clearly shows they tried to fix their mistake, and made every effort once she talked to the right people. And the whole "women" thing? Honestly, if a chic's educated, and knows what she needs done, nobody's gonna "pull a fast one". But I have seen girls who don't have a clue, and they're not hard to spot. Of course it's wrong to victimize, but all they gotta do is educate themselves.

  • that reporter sucks ass lol

  • Audiocable: stupid man should get an education

  • hurrrr, i ma women, i go to maaco to get dealership parts instead of going to the dealer to get the part directly, lol, stupid women should be buying clothing and kitchen utensils

  • 3:18 "more than half the customers in auto shops are women" because men fix their own cars by themselves! If its not a mans world anymore then why are there only men being shot on camera fixing the cars and not a single woman covered in grease underneath a broken car? Auto shops in general screw people over with money repairs etc... the difference is that most men by the parts for cheap and install them without a shops help.

  • did you see at the end of the video the dumb ass toss the hub cap down hard ? these $10 hr workers donr relize that these hub caps cost $ 100 each at the dealer !!!

  • @TheMurphy2003 Fuck hubcaps, I can get 18" alloys for $125 each NEW!

  • can this happen again? yes it can. and it will this afternoon

  • i agree, shops def take advatages of young kids and def women which is wrong, that dudes a fake ass

  • It's not just women and it's not just car repair.Today it seems that EVERY business is out to screw the customer and will do the BARE MINIMUM that they have to do while charging you the MAX price. It's all about the bottom line.Customer service has gone the way of the Studebaker......

  • it's not always the shop's fault. It is usually the insurance who does the negotiation with the shop. Most shops would charge the insurance for an OEM parts but the insurance won't pay for it especially for an old car. So the insurance would then suggest an aftermarket parts (without the customer approval) because it is cheaper. When everything is all fixed and ready to be picked up, the customer will be so happy without knowing that car has china parts installed.

  • @ip32862, where the fuck did u the painter was a imagr

  • what idiot goes to maaco to buy dealership parts............. pfff

  • @CUZC0M bcuz labor at the dealership would have been much more expensive along with the parts, so she went through Maaco

  • wht does this have to do with her being a woman? lol

  • @MrBEERLVR woman don't know shit about cars and mans do know every aspect for their cars

  • Ahahah! This would only happen in america. I got my camry painted (Maaco Canada). You have to do the body work yourself just to be safe. And they replaced my bumper for me and it's an original part too...

  • Is Nadine slow?

  • lmao i LOVE how it turned into a femi-nazi report in the end.

  • I don't see how gender has anything to do with it - I'm sure they would just as easily screw over male customers...

  • @tnmtemerity Absolutely. If someone is ignorant of how a service should be performed and they hire you to do something for them, you are a bad businessman if you DON'T take advantage of them. People aren't in business to give their service as cheaply as possible or to make new friends. People are in business for one simple reason: to make as much money as they can. If someone thinks otherwise, they are completely naive and just waiting to pay extra.

  • F YOU MACCO

  • Yes it is true, you fat old piece of shit you know you tried to screw that young girl and got caught. They should close every Maaco shop in the country because they are all dirty sob's FUCK YOU ALL MAACO OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES.

  • Ok the manager is responsible and ordered the part. but the illegal immigrant gets fired ok! But the owner and son were trying to hose the lady figuretively by stating she got OEM parts, but it reality just some cheap repos.

Let me take her to Vegas for a proper hosing!

  • Maaco Bakersfield, Ca. The rosedale Hwy. store will try to rip you off as they did me here in Bakersfield, Ca.

  • There's not enough evidence here to make the conclusion that this was done because you are a woman. You guys would have had to do some trials with both a experimental and test group. But, I do think that they were trying to take advantage of you. Making it right should have been a full refund of what you paid and a rental car. The manager was covering his tail by firing the employee. As for techs taking advantage of people, you guys are fooling yourselves if you think it's not common.

  • Man I love puffed cheese!

  • I'm not going to say where I work(haha) but at my job we do oil changes. On one particular change my MANAGER lost some kids oil cap. The kid had just got the car and new nothing about cars, so my manager just threw a rag in place of the oil cap. Then he brings the kid to the car and starts bashing him about driving with a rag in his engine.(LOL.haha). The kid had no idea that my manager lost his oil cap. My mngr tells him to get an oil cap, and he would give the kid a free oil change next time.

  • It was obviously a mistake, like the owner said. No need to get the news involved. It is a popular car and I'm sure there was a mix up. I'm just curious to know if the owner of the other car that got the OEM parts was called up and asked to fork up more cash...only fair I think.

  • Y should he have to pay more? He didn't ask them for the OEM parts. It wasn't his Fuck up

  • Are you serious? I hope that you aren't a manager anywhere. That isn't a fair decision and I'm sure that they'd lose a customer in the process. I'll tell you what fair is...finding out all of the customers that the guy has worked with. Then look into their invoice and find out who asked for OEM parts and paid for them. Then inspect those cars to see if indeed the parts are OEM as requested and replace them as needed. Is this going to happen, no chance....but that's how you fix an obvious mistake

  • i work and a body shop im a painter i paint sikkens and this body shops wants quantity not qualityif you guys want a quality shop GO TO SMALL SHOPS THEY WORK QUALITY NOT QUANTITY

  • What a bunch of fucking scumbags. it's possible that it could've been a mistake, but that's not the vibe I was getting from the dude.

I do all of the work on my girls car , she definitely won't have to worry about this happening.

    Boo to you Maaco.

  • can say it any better myself titansbjj :) cheap asses

  • you wanted oem parts and a good job out of a maaco shop? you go to maaco to get a decent job on a cheap car for a cheap price. i still think anyone is better off buying generic paint factory paint from a local dealer and spraying it themselves. its about the same

  • @copeme7403

You have no idea what you are talking about. Dealerships do not sell paint and painting a car properly requires a lot of training and expensive equipment.

  • where is the beef? WHERE IS THE BEEEEFFFFFFFFFFF?

  • @maxestuardo What?

  • she just wants to get railed!

  • how did it transition to bitches complaining.

  • what more does she want a trip to vagas lol. NO MISTER PEOPLE JUST WANT WHAT THEY PAY FOR. i really hope u lose ur buisness. what comes around goes around

  • what exactly should he do for her ???

by the sounds of it he is replacing the aftermarket parts with new OEM parts & put her in a rental car. what more should he do. it very well could have been a mistake made by the tech doing the work. but to wish that he looses his lively hood, his ability to put food on the table is a bit harsh. idiots like you buy into the belife that repair shops are criminal and they are there to rip people off, when in most cases they are honorable & legit business.

  • that airpark auto service is a rip to they charge big bucks for crap labor if your in that area go to rayco on main st they wont up sell you or sell you crap you dont need...

  • "The only way you can tell the difference between the two parts is that one has a toyota stamp" Makes me not trust him when the part rusts out because of inferior steel in two years. Crook

  • thats funny. i would bet my left nut that if you smashed your car & were paying for the repairs yourself you'd opt for the aftermarket parts also. shop owners would love to put nothing but OEM parts on the vehicles they repair, but the cheap ass customers like the price of aftermarket parts better.

  • Why do they think a women would be more likley to be ripped off? They can research what to look for in a factory part. it is hard to trust anyone

  • lol trip to vegas

  • *I mean the ignition wasn't broken

  • F**k Maaco, my friends car was stolen out there lot. 2 month later at the junk yard. Completely strip door to carpet, engine. You name it, everything was gone. There insurance compnay doesn't want to give them anything. Funny thing was that the ignition was broken. CAN YOU SAY INSIDE JOB!!!! There paint jobs suck! and they steal your car!

  • lol fucking liars... "there were 2 similar cars there at the same time". What a shitty excuse. Oh so it was a coincidence that both cars were getting the same part fixed? Oh how "careless" it was to just put on an aftermarket part on the wrong car! yeah right! That Manager/Owner was shitting bricks when asked on the spot.

  • scammers lol

  • a trip to Vegas would be nice! lol

  • 0:03 Bad reporter lol

  • shes a human too ...

  • Id rather have Aftermarket than OEM parts.

Especially if you own a GM or Ford vehicle!.

  • If you don't know find someone who does know to go with you. Just to make sure you don't get bent over when your not looking.

  • shame on you jeff"LOL

  • 3:14lol

  • does she need a trip to vegas or something lol

  • that guy "john" was a damn smooth talking liar.
