Anyone know of any recordings of this that has lyrics and vocals? I heard a tune on a jazz radio station years ago called Jeannine and a female vocalist with a somewhat deep sounding voice was singing lyrics. It sounded like the same tune.

No, madero, this piano here has absolutely nothing to do with the pianist-composer- arranger - bandleader Duke Pearson, who has passed back in 1980, I think .Anyway, he recorded a lot of nice music for Blue Note records both as a leader and a sideman for

several groups. It may prove very worthwhile

experience to check him up. Best wishes!

I remember a Duke Pearson from years ago hard-core jazz but i thought he was a reed player.

Also i surfed Youtube for more Duke Pearson stuff. I'm confused....maybe i should look at a Wiki'p page for some Duke background.

Anyway Duke has some real nice music.

@madero111 yes you are confused.Duke Pearson was was piano player.but he also played other instruments.he palyed a big part in shaping the Blue Note sound back in the day.Anyone who went thru Blue Note had to come in contact with Pearson.He was the A @ R man ,wrote,produced and composed and arranged for many up and coming artist such as Donald Byrd,Herbie Hancock,Grant Green, Wayne Shorter,Stanley Turrintine,Hank Mobley,Chick Corea,Flora Purim.
