OP's first movie was Aasman 1952. Lata was supposed to sing a ghazal which was later sung by Rajkumari. Do not know the words. All songs of Aasmaan were written by Majrooh Sultanpuri.

This song bring back memories from past although I did not quite let my world to be looted!! Good chorus, I should say Qawwali.

There was another song from this film(if my recall is right): Pretum Aan Milo sung by our sweet Geeta Duttt.I liked it.

'Preetam Aan Milo", penned by Ras Mohini, wife of O.P.Nayyar, was originally sung as a private song by C.H.Atma. O.P. used an abbreviated version in Geeta Dutt's voice for 'Aar Par'in 1954.

Correction: "Preetam Aan Milo" was used by O.P. Nayyar in `Mr & Mrs 55' and not `Aar Paar'.

Tkx for the correction. I have seen neither Aar-Par nor Mr.& Mrs. 55, but got the info from the article "Preetam Aan Milo" by Dr. Mandar on the web-site Cinema Sangeet. But you are apparently right as Earth Music web-site also lists it under Mr.& Mrs. 55.

1949 ki movie Kaneez mein title music diya tha first time OPNayyar nay aur 2 interlude music pieces.. Luckily i own these. so how can his wife pen lyrics of C.H.Atma's song of 40's :) or may be wo us waqt OPN. ki wife na hoon :)
