  • Your brother has a very nice house.

  • Sure that. I think depending the people you deal with you will be very happy for the rest of your life.

  • Hope you rent and not buy. In Philippine consitution is clearly written that foreigners never can own property nor land, except condominium IF +50 % of owners are philipino. I've seen many foreigners lose their hard earned money over there, marry a filipina, built house, she makes his life miserable get lazy, no sex , the foreigner goes with another girl, they split up and the juge give her all the properties. Its a sport over there. Sigh, when will they ever learn.

  • @zeproo I guess you're assuming I'm a rich old Amerikano with a young Filipina girlfriend. In reality I married my Filipina wife when she was 20 and I was 22. Now She is 60 and I am 62....40 years of a happy marriage. I speak fluent Tagalog and conversational Cebuano. Please don't stereotype all foreigners here in the Philippines. And by the way, we are renting.

  • @MagicMaximo Ahhhh A wise foreigner :-) Thats great. My GF is also Filipina since 7 years, however all those years I was there I saw many things. The most striking was a black American who built 3 houses. He was asked to bring his 17 y old niece to Manila, family told niece to seduce him and family cought him with the niece in bed. There were some witnesses, court ruled adultery and he lost his 3 houses. Set up of the family. Gosh.

  • @zeproo I'm sure those things happen, but I like to focus on all the good and positive things about the Philippines, which there are many.

  • @zeproo Typical stereotyping! I've lived in the Philippines and yessss, I have known of a lot of foreigners who couldn't keep their pants zipped up. The culture there is very old-fashioned and family means everything. If you betray your wife then you should expect to lose it all. Simple justice, I guess. Thanks for your nice clips, MagicMaximo.

  • @PapaRobbU2 Yes, Robb, I've been living here on the island of Cebu, Philippines for about 7 months, now. I think the culture is fascinating and It's my pleasure to share the "behind the scenes" life here. I'm glad you like the vids.

  • @ramonsbar11 My brother said they offered him the house in the video for 3M pesos, which is 3 br 2 bath which is in a gated compound. The house that I've living in (way out in the boondocks, 2 br 1 bath) the owner is asking 1.5 M Of course all prices are negotiable.
