  • GREAT!!! XDDD

  • It's really reassuring to see that it's okay to take 3 hours on a picture and it doesn't have to be done quickly to be good :) Thanks for the upload!

  • @TJEYkorea It's okay to take TEN hours on a picture. Don't let other people dictate how long it should take, because half of the people who say "I did this in an hour" are just blowhards. The other half might be just that good, but the point is to have fun and learn as you go along. The minute you start doing it just to meet someone ELSE'S standards is the minute it stops becoming fun.

  • It's a real treat to watch this and not some show-offy "cram 3 hours of work into 5 minutes" time lapse video. You can't learn nearly as much when the video is just whizzing by.

  • How the fuck does this only have 6,506 views? This is like a fucking treasure. LOVE Genzoman.

  • Hey, wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm trying to find the same brush used in this vid when smudging. Can't find any three pt brushes on the net. Appreciate any help!

  • @xAeMaeth It's called the Smudge Tool, and it can be found on the pallete to the left side of the screen. It's in the same pallete as the Blur tool. R is the hotkey, if it doesn't show you the smudge tool instantly, press R a few times until it's picked. YOu can also hold click on the pallete to expand the hidden tools for that particular toolset.

  • Might be a custom brush. If nothing else, make 3 dots, select them and save as a new brush. Try smudging with that?

  • @BeatsFromDP Do you know whether that method actually works? I mean the smudge tool is okay to use but not good for contrasting or mutiple colours, im trying to achieve the same smooth midtone effect

  • @xAeMaeth Sure it does! :) The proof is in the video since he does it himself. I'm actually trying out some of the techniques I've learned in this video, and it takes some practice, but it helps if you have the strength up around 70-75%. Also, you'll notice that he will sometimes smudge in a perpendicular direction to bring SOME of the color out into another color, then smudge parallel to blend the two. Keep in mind he's been doing it a while, so it takes some getting used to!

  • @BeatsFromDP Thanks for the tips, however im still struggling trying to get the same smooth mid tones for clothing and what not. I've created my own tripod brush however this smudging brush only really works on the jagged shadows of the hair. I'm super frustrated now because i just cannot get the smoothness i wanted.. Is there a specific preset for the brush? I've changed the spacing and thats about it

  • @xAeMaeth I can't say for sure - I wish he'd show more of how his brushes were made. I heard that on the disc of this issue, the brushes and artwork are included, but I can't find a download (or even the magazine) so I can see for myself. I keep the spacing at zero, though. Also, the smudging isn't always that smooth - if you look at areas like the lower parts of her breasts or the crook of her right leg, it's not TOTALLY smooth. I dunno. If you find anything out, let me know!

  • You're a LOT more loose and liberal with your strokes in your line art than I...

  • this makes me happy because I know its how all great Youtube art is made, but it's made in real time... I know it's been said before on this video.. as a matter of fact the top comment says exactly that, but thank you, you make me want to take more time to draw and make sure everything is just perfect =)

  • Genzoman!

  • The great Genzoman. Digitally drawing. And it's not sped up.

    :megusta:

  • One of the First videos on youtube I feel I should have payed money for.

  • excelente dibujo me encanto mucho en al portada de imagineFX edición we love manga

  • how much time did it take to upload?

  • someone like the smug tool.

  • @MilkBeard555 If that's the result of blending with the smudge tool.. you like it! you love it! you marry it! smudge tool <3!

  • or is it just a difference in opacity?

  • Is the brush on a different setting rather then "normal" when you do the mid tones in the beginning?

  • @Rokayee1 He's using a three point brush, with certain settings on. Thats what he uses to get a mid tone. Using it to smudge the two extremes to create the mid tone. Helped?

  • @Srjuanando yea thanks ^_^

  • Hentai big boobs rules !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great job ...thanks

  • I like the fact that it is not speed up. As a fellow digital artist (still in formation) I am really glad to be able to see and understand the full process of the making os this kind of picture.

  • did u use a normal drawing pad or a cyntiq?
