This reminds me of riding my old Vmax over the Australian mountains when I used to smoke joints and drink bundy rum before I was called. I stopped at a road side dinner for a burger and a coke.There was some country folks and some hunters inside somebody got married and somebody died I went to the jukebox and played a hillbilly song.Top recording was New Sensations.
I wish I had this on cd so I could listen to it on my car, I even got american car, chrysler neon with good speakers... I only have this lp in my closet. Well this is so good it needs a diamond to play it, haha... best sounding albums these lou reed 80´s albums. just listened to blue mask in my car got the cd from library here in Finland yes!
I have the CD which includes lyrics. One of the lines is "Some people are like human Tuinals" (not "toulinols"). A Tuinal is a drug... it's a barbiturate. What he's saying here is that some people are real downers.
