  • 2:45 lets crank the gain and volume

    2:52 volume at 11 o'clock

  • Downer.

  • This guy's hair is a good example of a hairDONT. He has Kenny G hair only blonde.

  • Hilarious video

  • So many levels of wrong. Do Vox amps really make you glow? Why has this guy got to the age he has and no one has stopped him doing those faces? Is he related to that guy who plays 'Steve the Pirate' in Dodgeball?

But the one thing that concerns me the most is that 'padded carrying case' and whether it comes with a belt strap too enabling the owner to wear it as a bum-bag...

  • awesome sound and the faces he makes while playing are hilarious

  • 2:50 epic faces start, 3:07 I laugh so hard I start crying

  • vox delivers their newest creation, the night toaster

  • looks like a toaster...

  • is it possible to use it with line6 pod hd 300?

  • dear reviewer, y dont u just masturbate yourself.

  • Think I may have to buy

  • Fuck man, you DON'T need to makes those faces.

  • I wonder if hes got a mirror in front of him, if is gonna make me put those faces, I wont buy it...

  • What's with the cheesy effects.

  • I can't abide this player's face and hair.

  • This is an awesome amp but none of the reviews use the standard greenback cab which is a bit misleading. The standard cab does not do it justice anyway which is why i built my own and loaded it with alnico golds. If your serious about tone you've got to get some good alnico speakers, they sound AWESOME with this amp.

  • Доширак на голове=) Но звук очень и очень достойный. Пожалуй, буду копить)

  • damn i like this guitarist! :) reminds me of a less hyper phil x

  • @giggs102 This dude is nowhere near as good as PhilX. He's not a bad guitar player, don't get me wrong....but PhilX just has music flowing through him.

  • Oh, no... Johnny DeMarco... 0.o

  • Oh, no... Johnny DeMarco... 0.o

  • How do you get stoned mode on?

  • Сликом много визуальных эффектов в записи. Слишком рекламно. Звучание очень понравилось.

  • is he reading that ?

  • Everytime I see this guy I have to laugh,....... sorry I do.

He may be able to play guitar .................... I usually just hit the the forward button

  • Have you ever seen anyone as self-impressed as Johny Demarco?

  • Hmm, sorry, but I don't have any bucks for this spineless sound.

  • not impressed. listen to my fender blues deluxe reissue video for some real tone.

  • @guitarcovers50 yes, and at over twice the price you'd hope so...

  • @Schpudd true lol. its a good practice amp though. i prefer the jet city picovalve more though :)

  • they should call it the toaster.

  • sounds weak to me

  • can't do metal.

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!! Johnny DeMarco?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • x']

  • Gah I want to punch this Sammy Hagar faggot in the face! Great amp though

  • "...dont let this fool you, dont let that fool you..!!" can't ever say anything different????

    besides, this guy looks like a t o t a l moron

  • HOLY CRAP--- " LAY OFF THE CRAZY GUITAR PLAYER FEEL FACES " YOU LOOK RIDICULOUS .YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A SHOW BUDDY .

  • is anyone else seeing trails?

  • Good player but my God, the greasy poodle dog hair combined with the masturbatory self expression has to go bye bye... in order to get through this demo I had to shrink the window and just listen. The 80's ruined an entire generation of male musicians on soooo many levels.

  • he's coming on every note man!!!

  • he looks like a blonde Brian May

  • Especially with the accesory case it looks like the sort of Amp that Paris Hilton would buy.

  • Why do they never use the 1x12 cab thats designed for it in these videos. You think an endorsed Vox video on the Vox Night Train would also show case the specifically designed cab. Makes me worry about the 1x12 cab. Is it any good? I have the head on order, making my own cab.

  • @crazkurtz I was thinking the same thing. I think the cab has a celestion greenback. would think it would sound good.

  • great guitar playing but this guy is the ultimate example of middle aged mid life crisis douche bag guitar player. really guy? those moves while playing by yourself? so lame

  • 4:16

  • What kind of cabinet is he using????

  • @unreliabl ahhh, probably the V112NT Half Stack, i believe its the cabinet specifically made for this amp head...im not 100% sure, so dont quote me lol

  • @unreliabl actually it looks like a Vox Custom AC15c1, but im not sure

  • really good demo TY!

  • The guy can flat out play!!!!

  • This guy is too much

  • holy shit, this dude is tripping me out!!

  • I am looking into this head with the matching cabinet and I'm wondering if it will be loud enough for small gigs. What do you think?

  • please stop making those faces.

  • is there a footswitch you can use for switching clean/OD channels?

  • idk that there is a specific footswitch, but I bet you could just use a genaric one

  • Man, those faces he is making are killing me...

  • the octave track at the end.. is it really only the nighttrain and this guitar? no pedals, no equalization afterwards? nothing? if so, I might order it right NOW!

  • The Edgar Winter passage at 2:30 made me giggle a bit..

  • how does it compare to the vox ac151tv?

  • @thehornypuppy. By clean headroom I mean the ability to increase the volume to a level where you can get above the band and not have the tubes start to overdrive and distort the sound. ie to be able to play cleanly at high volume.

  • Can anyone shot this guy in the head so he won't be hired to more reviews? Thanks...

  • what kind of rectifier tube does it HAVE? a 5ar4?it doesn't seem to have much rectifier sag

  • what kind of rectifier tube does it HAVE? a 5ar4?

  • will i look this cool if i get that amp?

  • pause at 3.34 for an epic jizz face

  • maybe he is just high on life or gay !!

  • This guy crack me up.

  • Hi everyone, have a quick one for everybody! Is it possible that my vox NT has a little less volume than my Pathfinder 15r? I got my NT checked last week by service, change valves and everything seems to be ok...any clue?

  • he enjoys playing way too much... I wish i orgasmed every time i played

  • @puffcrusader696 keep in ming that he is trying to sell you somthing.

  • @OJgivesmegas exactly, and it worked. I own one and love it; now I orgasm every time I play :P haha

  • @puffcrusader696 I see what your saying, but if you look like your not interested in what your playing, no one else will either.

  • @Torrello13 yupp

  • @puffcrusader696 i think he makes those faces on purpose, it is surely his job to make faces as if he enjoyed playying da night train like he shows vox tells him to so ppl would buy it

  • I'm over this it's official now that I'm getting one! Btw Sammy hager in pain

  • I feel like i'm tripping when that weird effect on the video comes up.

  • @spracketskooch yupp

  • @evildemonllama That's what I aspire to be someday.

  • Yeah, he's got some funny faces, but no-one can deny his killer chops. Get over it u-toobers...spend more time playing rather than being trivial. So what if he uses terms liek "rippin distortion" etc, which sound pox - thats just his style. He play most of us under the table (with facial expression to match!)

BTW, this amp is fantastic sounding. Its my only modern/new amp, which to me says something. Peace out

  • This is the awful legacy of David Lee Roth

  • I tried one of these amps today, it's absolutely crushing. The tone is amazing! I have several great amps but I'm definately planning on buying one of these in the near future.

  • 3:03......he's spazzing out :)

  • is it worth buying?

  • VOX amps should make a 30W, two channel version of the Night Train.......

  • Why the heck are everybody commenting his look? You're meant to listen to the wonderful amp. Do you really care that much about how a guy looks? If so, that is pretty sad.

  • @FantaPureDEATH I don't really like his complexion, he really should have worn a brighter shirt to combat it. Hair is a bit '80s if you ask me, chain is a bit garish.

On a side note; the amp is cool.

  • @hungerer1

    Lol.

  • @FantaPureDEATH are u guys dating, or sumthin?

  • @FantaPureDEATH well...the amp sounds like shit in his hands...and i already watched Pro Guitar Shop Review like 25 times incluing yesterdays views.

  • @FantaPureDEATH I was looking at your comment before the intro ended. Very thoughtful. Then he came on having a constant orgasm. I felt like I got trolled.

  • @FantaPureDEATH that was one guy

  • This guy give Johnny DeMarco a run for his money on facial expressions. Classic.

  • Yeesh! Don't show the face!! REALLY distracting- If he were trying out for my band, we wouldn't hire him, despite his great chops.

  • why didnt they use the night train cab?!

  • Yep. I'm getting a Night Train now I've heard the clean tones.

  • @bugjr Guitar is sex?

  • @TruckyNiggets hahahahahahahahahaha thats hillarious

  • @TruckyNiggets hahahahaaha nice!!!

  • johnny demarco

  • ...and it's off to the pawn shop he goes. Very handy size. I wish all of these new amps could really be put to a comparison test. I've got old dusty relics from my past that sounded W---A----R----MMMMMM. The late 70's and early 80's were a great time for guitar amps. They could be bought cheaply, especially if they were tube amps. Conversations in the music stores were sometimes ridiculous, but if you had any sense you could downplay an old Twin Reverb and walk out with it for $300.Vintage??

  • @jadart2000 I don't think he personally owns the company. Tard.

  • @diminishedlogic Hahahaha...

  • @TruckyNiggets

    rofl!!

    dudes got the feelin inside

    ...or something inside anyway 0.o

  • OK, I have 2 questions. Can this amp do metal? It seemed like it in the video, but I want to be sure. And secondly, can it make a clean sound that is not that sharp? Like a good cleantone for adding distortion effects on it? Also, as a metal player I'm not too fond of that very sharp clean. What I want is a rhyhtm cleantone, if you understand what I mean. My guitar is a Gibson LP studio if that matters.

    Thanks :)

  • @frobank You will need either need a petal to push it some, or just go with a distortion pedal over the clean channel. The amp works well but you have to be sure you pair it with a decent cab to get the best sound.

  • @TruckyNiggets

whats a good pedal to push it?

  • @SamuelllSabotage There's always the Tube Screamer (and clones) which gives a nice mid bump. I like the OCD, personally, but any decent OD would work. You just need something to add a little gain and push the preamp harder.

  • @SamuelllSabotage any Ibanez "Tube screamer" .

  • @frobank If you are planning on getting a better sound for metal you wouldn't even be asking this. Get an amp for clean sound and one for distortion.

  • does anyone know if i could use this head with a marshall 412?

  • this guy is good don't get me wrong but sometimes i loose my train of thought because he looks like he's being raped by the sounds of his guitar.

  • Maybe I'm outta the loop but it sounded like he said "brown sound" for use in country and blues. I thought brown sound was Van Halen tone...

  • would u be able to link the head to 2 cabs instead of just one?

  • i love DeMarco in this video, he's so chill, great demo!

  • what a gay douchebag.

  • see who vox thinks you are?

  • VOX need to seriously reconsider if they want a wanker like this bloke endorsing their stuff. What a turnoff.

  • @dattoboy1 What do you mean? He's a good player. Makes some funny faces, but we all do when we get to that sweet spot, (know what I mean? ) LOL! This is the only good demo of this incredible amp because this player demos the clean tones as well as the dirty ones. All the others are trying to play metal through this unit on their post only.. And surprisingly, this amp can do that as well. But I bought mine for the early British Invasion tones mainly.

  • can i connect my Roland micro cube to any vox amp cabinets?

  • Can this be connected to a PA system?

  • @MrJackanthony

The Nighttrain just have two speaker outputs. 8 and 16 ohm...

  • @OddIvar95 Thank you sir. Guess I'll have to mic it then?

  • He looks like Johny de marco :)

  • @TheOscana he is Freddy demarco ,johny's brother.

  • @TheOscana ah god not fucking johny de marco

  • @TheOscana He's Johnnys brother

  • @TheOscana their brothers

  • @TheOscana

    That's because he's Johnny DeMarco's brother...Freddy Demarco.

Freddy is the less annoying of the two.

  • @TheOscana its his bro

  • @TheOscana he's called, danny or freddie or something demarco

    i'm assuming they're brothers

  • @TheOscana Yeah, that's freddie, brother of Johnny & part of the demarco brothers band. Couple of gobshites if you ask me!

  • @TheOscana cause its his brother...and JESUS...this guy gets off ALOT while playing guitar lol

  • @TheOscana he's his brother

  • oh come on the amp has a mic it's supposed to be showing what the amp could do but there is something extra going on with the mic

  • @TruckyNiggets Dat's da Fawnk Face Y'all... Homeboy's feeling it. Too bad more "musicians" these days don't feel the music like he does.

  • Such a beautiful amp. Gassing for one, badly.

  • wut type of cab is he using? i've just started getting into vox amps.

  • Which is better guys orange tiny terror or Vox Night train

  • @letshakehands Night train, I think. because i think the Orange can't give any normal clean sounds. but that's my oppinion

  • @letshakehands Both are great, but if you want the versatility of tones, go for the Night Train. The Tiny Terror is geared mainly for distortion. Doesn't have the Vox British Invasion tones which is what I wanted first and foremost. Either one's a winner though. Just depends on what style(s) you play.

  • is he guitar lipsyncing?

  • whats the riff at 3:02?

  • the amp is nice, beautiful, but the gigbag sucks. mine broke and the amp went down to the ground, smashing a little in the choke side.

yep, brand new from store, the day I bought it.

  • Cant agree more, nice amp, but get that self-centred idiot fired.

  • @punkeratheart lol yeah

  • ..but maybe it just needed to be polished.....

  • Man I really dig the funky sound

  • Sounds really good in places. My only concern for gigging would be if it has enough clean headroom....

Anyone have one and some insight??

  • @TheCrystalyne What do you exactly mean by clean headroom? I've been listening to that term a lot recently and have found no definition or headroom.

  • @thehornypuppy

I think "The Crystalyne" is talking about a room where they give you head and basicaly maintain really clean. Cause Im as lost as you are bro.

  • Your right, that ws my point, they should go somewhere else....

Because, well, as I figure it, the point of this video is simply to demo an amp....

Not to make fun of the guy demoing it....

  • Yes you can gig with it use a 2x12 or a 4x12 and it will keep up with your drummer as long as your bass player isn't godawful loud. And of course you can put a SM 57 mic in front of it at a gig and you have surround sound.

100 watt amps are just fucking retarted, saying that they are designed for arena's not rehearsal rooms or clubs

  • Thanks man, think I'll give one a try. Taking a 50lb combo to a small gig isn't a lot of fun.

  • Give the guy a break and listen to the demo guys...........

  • @TheCrystalyne whats with the people in the past talking crap about this guy ? he's just trying to demo the amp. if they dont like it they should go somewhere else

  • the tone about 4:05 is killer!

  • @cosmogang no im not but still hes good at guitar

  • I gave you a thumbs up, although you can't tell because the other tools on this page gave you thumbs down. Thank you for having ears and eyes. I hate this guy, and I hate his brother who does the boss demos. You, on the other hand, must be cool.

  • What is the song he plays at 1:07

  • he's a great player but the only thing i could think about when i watched the video the only thing i could think about was that song jizz in my pants

  • No, I suck!

  • I'd paint my face like a clown and then have it permanently altered to look like any one of his faces, if I could play like him. He rocks...

  • one of the best amps i ever played

  • Lmao

  • man!I wish my hair could look like that! That's the coolest!

  • If you already have a cab, and look to upgrade your head. I would get this. I Just recently did this, loud as shit out of 4 x 12s and sounds great. very diverse amp.

  • How did you plug the head into the cab?

I noticed to inputs for cabs at 16-ohms...Is this what you did or did you just plug it into a single side pushing 8-ohms?

What kind of cab are you using? You like the match?

    Thanks!

  • he looks like hes trippin on acid when he plays

  • it's all in the curls..

  • It sounds good, but for $500.00 you could get a tube combo amp. With a cabinet you run the price up between $600-$700 dollars and you only have a 15 watt amp. Makes me wonder.

  • i was thinking the same thing. for $700 you could get a fender hot rod deluxe thats got 40w and more controls

  • @madanath: Yea, but I have a HRDX and I'd rather have the NT w/cab. Not many place let you use those full 40 watts. 7.5 watts suddenly become attractive and so does the portability after dealing with a HRDX.

  • True, wattage isnt necessarily a measure of quality. How often does one actually get to turn your tube amp all the way? At best its 1 for bedroom and 5-6 maybe 7 live. The Night train is also tiny! But it depends on what you play
