  • did i see a flye in this vid ^^

  • Steve -I dont want to sound like a cock but do you reckon those flies were laying eggs in the boilies and that in itself could possibly add some fish attraction as carp will obviously love some fly eggs lol....

  • @brad1brad its a theory that stands up yes

  • man i roll a lot of bait but have NEVER seen so many flys!! jeeez..are you near a maggot farm or something??

  • yes mate the 'green' waste bin it's a maggot farm in the summer

  • how do you make it

  • Dude you are drawing flies like a corpse. What the hell is in that bait ??

  • Fly sugar!

  • how long did it take you to roll 10k?

  • oh a couple of minutes:)

back then a lot longer than now.

and i am getting faster and faster:P

  • the best bait i have used so far is frosted mini wheats and 1 can of spinich, pore the whole can in and the add a bottle of vanilla,i use to only use without the vanilla but when i started using i also catch alot of cats now,its a great bait, give it about 20 minutes to dry out and it sets up like concrete, very hard to sling off and stays on reall good also, have you every tried,if not try it,you will see great results.

  • so u use cereal with spinach liek the vegetable???, and then u put some vanilla sugar??

  • They say a fly shats every time it lands. Did you know these were only 1mm boilies when he first started lol by the time the flys had landed 1000 times on each one he has a nice 18 mm boilie as a result. All this time and i finally found out his secret ingredient. Its flys shat!

  • and it caught me loads of fish too:)

  • damn how did u manage to get the flys away

  • they bugger off when the baits have dryed out thankfully.

  • they look like 16 or 18

  • they are 16's which is the size i mostly use

  • what size baits is are they?

  • LOL, are you fly fishing!!

  • what base mix do u use?

  • Its my own recipe

  • Ill hate to see the flies that hatch from them eggs! :)

  • in the summer i will take a video of my dustbin for you! maggot farm!!!

  • what a fly's wow thats unusual (maybe not) are they made from fish flavours?

  • Hey steve. I don't usually use boilies or make them, but i have lately started making some of my own. Of course they are not turning out the best but they are okay. I cant figure out a good base mix for my boilies because when i boil them, they dont get really hard. If you could, message me to my account some tips on making boilies please. thanks, tugsnap

  • anyone tired grinding amino tablets from bodybuilder shops and mixing in with boilies.....

  • I have used 'Minamino' which is an amino acid food supplement as well as 'neat' aminos back in the 80t's. To be honest i found you do not need to add anything like aminos ect to baits, just good basic ingredients that fish like is all that you ever need. There is an awful lot of 'rubbish' spoken about carp bait, mostly by the people trying to sell you it.

  • That's a proper bait there mate. All those flies attracted to it. I'm jealous! If you want to spill the proverbial beans on that bait mate I would be a happy chappy. I bet you won't though! ;-) Now I'm off to put some goose crap in my boilies :-D

  • lol

  • You may laugh, but, a bloke here in Canada(I'm living in Canada now)tried some goose dung as an additive in his boilies as there were all these carp following the geese and he noticed that they would eat the goose shit when they took a dump????????? Well sure as shit (pun) he was on a winner with that bait as his catch rate went up considerably. I prefer halibut oil on my boilies, maize and trout pellets though. LOL! Good log you got going there though mate, nice one!

  • rofl;-)

However... The goose dung most likely has digested proteins in it in the form of amino acids which are highly attractive to carp..

  • so many flys :O

  • ever heard the saying "like flies buzzing round the honey pot"

  • wow thats alot of boiles what flavour are they mate? and jesus whats with all the flys :o
