Hey good news, by the way. They have hired a director whose entire experience is action movies to direct the episode in which the big battle will be next season. Pretty sure thats a good sign! If you've read the books, you may know that they HAVE TO show this battle in the show because it is FUCKING AWESOME!

I was somewhat disappointed with this, and yet, you have to admit it would be rather silly to see Tyrion riding around cutting down Starks on his horse.

I kinda liked how they did this without showing the battle but it had better not become a trend! Some of the battles kinda need to be seen.

@gunterdak Better get used to it. I remember when HBO did Rome; they didn't show the battles in that, either.

As sad as it is, with Sean Bean (And his paycheck.) out of the series they just might afford it. Along with the success the series has had which would mean possibly bigger budget for later seasons.
