ok so i did this and it worked ok, but it put my xbox to pal 50 which doesn't allow my games to run but as soon as i cahnge it back to pal 60 the resoultion gets lost and i can t read lines of dialogue or any kind of text on my games plz help!!!

@1insan3tranc3 Hold the sync button when you power up your Xbox. It should reset the video resolution to whatever you currently have hooked in.

i use to have an xbox 360 arcade, the original white one, and the graphics?resolution were awesome. It was seven yeas old and broke, so I got the new slim, but now the my HUD in cod is all fucked up and the graphics just seem blurrier than with the arcade and not as good.

@Puppetlo What I did was choose my xbox360 to go up to a resolution that doesn't work for me. It says if you can't see anything after 10 seconds it will return to the current resolution. I pressed A and that screwed up my system leaving me with black screen. You said you witnessed the greenish tint problem. I've gotten that too after turning my system on. Just turn it off and it'll be fine. Nothing to worrey about.

@gritnom I tried my HD T.V. with the cables that came with the xbox360 and I tried the HDMI cable on my monitor and nothing. I called Xbox tech support and tried pretty much everything they told me (including this) but still nothing. I guess I'll send it in for repair. The weird thing is I never got any red rings. It lights up normal when I turn it on.

WOW! There is another video of someone who did this and have the exact same monitor as me. Mine is the Hanns G JW199D. I sent an email to the local xbox team of what happened a few days ago and now it's solved. I 'll need to send them an email to apologize. The problem only occurred after downloading the latest NXE for Kinect. Once again, thanks and now I can get the Dell U2311H. It has no hdmi port and since hdmi-dvi doesnt work earlier, I was scared. Now it's fine. Thks
