  • Definitely has a sound very similar to Queen, but that doesn't mean it's a rip-off :)

  • good song but kinda a ripoff of queen

  • @thetroller121 i think it's more of a tribute than a rip-off

  • ∩(︶︿︶)∩

  • it looks like a "Arabic" song..........

  • Muse needs their own Guitar Hero....

  • the ending is beautiful and awesome when your high

  • ***LOVE IT*** 01:35

  • Long live Oceani... I mean Eurasia!

  • This song reminds Queen

  • @Mata10Est especially 1:16 -> bohemian rhapsody

  • @LarsHofmann Really? it reminded me of we are the champions.

  • @St33zYGh0sT maybe a bit, but i think of the bohemian rhapsody when i hear this.

  • heard this on a trailer for Haywire, and i simply had to come back to listen to this beautiful song :)

  • i love the turkish part ^^

  • @dziunia2206 maybe... egypt?

  • @dziunia2206 yes very Persian sounding

  • @dziunia2206 I'd say Egypt

  • @dziunia2206 Egypt OF COURSE

  • @REFLEXLWD Turkish music has more violin.

  • @dziunia2206 yeah i know, :D

That's why i said it was more egyptian :)

  • he didn't play the nocturne how it was suppossed to be, but nice interpretation of muse, and also nice violins :)

  • increible!!!

  • I MUST BE THE 1,000,000 VIEWER!!!! I will probably get an xbox or something!

  • search for "Chopin Nocturne E Flat Major Op.9 No.2" on youtube ;)

  • @Suzu2k6

took me so fucking long to figure it out... -___-"

  • Beatifull cong, sounds like Queen, guitar sounds like Brian May :p

  • how does USOE spell MUSE? the fuck

  • @classicgamerguy112 NO..Look...don't count the F in of...Muse~M~United~U~States~S~(of)~Eurasia~E

  • @classicgamerguy112 I wondered that too, but the person was counting the name Muse in "Muse United States of Eurasia, the title of the video.

  • Magnifique <3 :D

  • United Kingdom of Afralia... :)

  • Dudes, the whole album meaning based on 1984.

  • way to mix Muse with Chopin, I'm in love.

  • Actually hoping for a world order. Why should humans be separated into their little groups? It's primitive and against the advancement of society...

  • The piano riff in this at 1:34 is the only reason I listen to this song.

  • This music remember me Queen.

  • As soon as someone mention the Illuminati I have to shut my ears and disregard them for the complete fucktards they are.

  • @TheSethIkrass me? why?

  • @whenlifewontwait

Hahahaha. No band EVER can play as much as different styles as Queen does perfect.

  • lol " Muse - United States of Eurasia " .. All first letters make the word MUSE haha just found it weird :P . awesome song

  • @JimmyGian O_O How did I not see that?

  • @MrAVEREX heheh :)

  • Even Brian May gave this album props. BRIAN. FUCKING. MAY.

  • Who else just realized that this song is a nod to 1984? In the book the Meganation Oceania is always at war with either EURASIA, or East Asia, which are also both Meganations. The whole triad of war is necessary to keep their populations in line (and an excuse to invoke martial law).

  • @blargation this song isnt referencing that at all you tard. eurasia is a combination of europe and asia. just like united states of.

  • @iNarbage

It can reference whatever the fuck I want it to reference, considering that music is guaranteed to ellicit different responses in different people. It may mean one thing to you, and something wholly different to me.

  • Comment removed

  • @blargation I just wanted to write about Orwell's book and then i have seen your comment. Unfortunately, slowly the world tends to go in the direction described in the book

  • @blargation I noticed that when I heard the song for the first time a while back, and Muse has actually acknowledged the song as being a reference to Eurasia from 1984, so your right actually.

  • This song reminds me of Vladimir Putin :)

  • check out temple of doom "parade of the slave children"

  • indiana jones much?

  • Wall Street protesters are idiots who have no idea what are they protesting about.

Saw one guy in tv, "we're all equal and we all deserve money" - that's communism.

  • @keoism There are SOME idiots alongside the protesters, and of course the media is only ever going to show the idiots. A lot of people know exactly what they are protesting. Do YOU know why they are protesting? Did you know the U.S.A is over fifteen trillion dollars in dept to a private organisation, that is allowed to print money at will, and can never be taken to court? (The Federal reserve.) If you have to ask me what the FED has to do with wall street, you're the idiot.

  • @FoetusInYourNoodles I tumbed up because of your name.

  • @keoism while that may be true, and many people are jumping on the bandwagon; you can't help but wonder if things are going to change in this country. From the corruption to the 1% of the pop, these people are the only ones trying to change that...

  • @Zerosupersayan And you are aware that Muse would be in the illuminati if they still excist right?

  • @Dude0Vinni0Dude your stupid this whole album is against that (Resistance) your dumb kid

  • @keoism If you are really that ignorant to generalize the Wall Street protesters like that, you need to do your research before you can say anything about them.

  • Muse should be playing on wall street... Pumping up the protesters.

  • Smiling at how alive the legacy of Queen and Freddie Mercury is in this song.

  • Warning: DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS AND BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY AT THE SAME TIME. EARS MELT.

  • 124 people are not part of the one country.

  • I'd so wish it actually happened, finally USA would have someone to be afraid of :P

  • I like the Queen influence in this song and Resistance. I love rock so many years and I wish I'd have learned about them after.

  • @shadow94hyunseop, Nocturne by Chopin

  • som1 knows wots title have thte last part, the piano part???

  • First off, this song isn't about America, it's about the entire world being stuffed under one regime.

Second, I LOVE how Matt makes his guitar licks sound JUST like Brian May in this song, very subtle, but obvious to anyone familiar with Brian May

  • Fuck this. I'm going to United States of Eurasia.

  • this group is amazing. when you listen to their music. its not like anything you would ever hear on the radio. MUSE is MUSE and Matt makes awesome compositions of it. especially Exogenesis parts1-3. no other bands will do that because they wouldnt even think of doing anything like that. Symphonic Rock in all their albums.

  • @skinnydiprog3r What the hell do you find something "pro-american" in this ? the song is call United States of EU-RA-SIA !

Stop boriing us with pro or con of america !

Most people DON'T CARE ABOUT american policy !!

  • @TheCyrix1 obviously you didn't read my comment at all.. I thought it sounded like the lyrics were changed to change the meaning of the song, but after listening closer I realize it is just hard to decipher Matt's voice

  • @TheCyrix1 "Most people DON'T CARE ABOUT american policy !!" Honestly, that's precisely the problem. Just sayin'.

  • @skinnydiprog3r why would they make a british song more pro-american?

  • @LennyLemmings That was what i was asking.. Now I realize I wasn't listening close enough. Im going to remove my original comment now because it is wrong

  • Nocturne #9 in EbM by Chopin

  • Amazing^^

  • did queen sing this before muse , cuz it sounds like it in parts.

  • The song sounds even better live !!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Chopin and Orwell meets in one song. brilliant.

  • queen rocks :)

  • this band copies queen....but thats ok cuz queen is fucking awsome :):): )

  • @paultronic69 This album you can hear queen influence, Muse's other 4 albums sound nothing like queen.

  • @PeasantofMercia ok lol that dose not negate the fact that coppied queen on this song...

  • SOME PARTS REMIND ME OF QUEEN!

  • Muse bring out themes in a song which i think is fantastic. Most bands couldnt do that at all. Coldplay's viva la vida is a great example they really brought the roman theme out in that song. Great talent!

  • it's like they mixed muse with being gigantic faggots. Oh, wait

  • @foreignrifles Go suck ur mums if you hate Muse go on somewhere else.

  • @TimmaHZheng tough words... You must make your own mommy happy...

  • Indiana Jones rip.

Also the lyrics are laughable at best.

  • How could Matthew Bellamy be such a genius?

    His compositions are wicked!!!

  • chopin and egypt? I'm dying over here :)

  • EuraSIA! love it.

  • Is this the real, or is this just fantasy?! O-o

  • Muse will resist the illuminati's new world order... will you?

  • @Zerosupersayan Muse's song "Assassin" is about the Illuminati being oppressed and pushed underground by the Catholic church. :/

  • @JustMerpMan Muse's song "Assassin", is a call to arms, to fight the evil powers that be. I have no idea how you could have interpreted it another way. Quote from Assassin: "War is not due, the time has come for you. To shoot this band down, Join forces underground".

  • @FoetusInYourNoodles just to point out the lyrics are actually:

    "War is overdue,

the time has come for you

    to shoot your leaders down

    join forces, underground"

The reference to shooting your leaders alludes to the title of the song. If anything the correct lyrics support your comment more.

  • @mattcanseedeadpeople True, thank you, lol.

  • @mattcanseedeadpeople WHOA! WAIT A MINUTE! When did Assassin come in?

  • @Zerosupersayan No real need. The illuminati:

1 - were scientists, not satanic evil geniuses

    2 - Are all dead

  • its like they mixed queen with led zeppelin, blink 182 and system of a down.

  • Such nostalgia! I remember learning Nocturne (the piano song he plays at the end) when i was like 12 but now i can't remember any of it D: :D

  • this song really make me feel...

  • Just a dream : Muse feat. Queen.

    Holy shit !!!

  • @sylvain33290 Perhaps in another lifetime. That would be the collaboration to beat all collaborations....it would be as powerful as dividing by zero....

  • @sylvain33290 One problem Muse isnt gay

  • @YourSoulNeverDies .. facepalm -.-

  • @YourSoulNeverDies Everyone!! Give the previous comment a Thumbs Down

  • @sylvain33290 I wish... But Freddie Mercury is DEAD!! *sob*

  • am i the only one that thought of bohemian rhapsody throughout this?

  • MUSE = futuristic Queen ;D

  • 3.40.. best bit?

  • The piano at the end is a famous song, I've heard it before many times before but I don't know what it's called. Can anyone help me out?

  • @TeamLegacyFTW Chopin, Opus 9 number 2.

  • @Lateontios Thanks a lot :)

  • @TeamLegacyFTW it's the Nocturne In E-Flat Major, Op.9 No.2 by the (in my opinion) the most talented composer of all times, Chopin. Matt's version of it is the best I have ever heard.

  • @TeamLegacyFTW it's a Chopin Song but i don't know the name

  • @luisk7rock Chopin: Nocturne; Op. 9, N:o 2

  • This, or possibly Microcuts, is my least favourite Muse song.

  • @1988NickF microcuts? :O

  • @1988NickF Microcuts? that's one of their best songs!

  • @losconocimientos

I know! Everyone seems to think so. And I really, really love Muse! I can't explain it.

  • It's so weird that people copy the top comments

  • So wierd that people copy the top comments :P

  • it sounds like a tribute to queen............and egyptians :)

  • In a pre-release interview featured in the August edition of music magazine Mojo, vocalist and guitarist Matthew Bellamy reveals the song to be inspired by "a book called The Grand Chessboard by Zbigniew Brzezinski," explaining that "Brzezinski has the viewpoint that the Eurasian landmass, ie Europe, Asia and the Middle East, needs to be controlled by America to secure the oil supply." from Wiki.

This song's an exhortation to european and asian people to reclaim their full independence.

  • Great song, Queen is the first thing that comes to mind when your heard it. This should be soundtrack of any Prince of Persia

  • This like a combination of

Chopin , Queen and Egyptian Music

  • Today is Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday. Happy birthday!

  • epic song

  • Chopinn??? :S WTF!!!?

  • @DreamTVai He's right.

  • i got the 3000 like !

  • 1984

  • Temple of Doom Soundtrack - Slave Children's Crusade. About 20 seconds in sounds almost exactly like this at 1:34! Lol

  • Why is it everyone gets the 1:16 queen reference but not the 2:41 one?

  • @nitnatsnok88 Because it's exactly the same as the first one....

  • Guiding Light time!

  • Muse is getting ridiculously good, if they stay together its going to be an amazing decade for them, they have grown so much, they finally found there own sound, capable of putting out a queen-liked vibe like this, its almost eerie.

  • è una specie di miscuglio tremendo di queen e dream theatre 0_0 la parte migliore è chopin xD

  • Far better then Queen. Best song off the album. Sweet Jesus Christ.

  • Era of rachmaninov is over now its time for some queen stuff and frederic chopin :D

  • 1:16 Queen's Remembrance!

  • Comment removed

  • This song is based off the book "1984" by George Orwell, as are several other songs on the album. Thumbs up for getting good literature out there to Muse fans! Great book.

  • you do know his was "queen" inspired? They obviously did a good job then, :)

  • Queen + Egyptian scales = United States Of Eurasia

  • getting a 'Queen' Vibe from this...

  • I know guys, lets just add an entire Mozart song on the end.

  • @4lukeification shopan?

  • @vinnyrox2 chopin's nocturne

  • @LazDiezal opus 90 nº 2, I played it and I was thrilled of hearing it played by a superb band like Muse :D

  • love the egiptian part <3

  • Sorry to say but this is absolutely more fantastic than Bohemian Rhapsody.

  • I'm Polish, from a country where Chopin was born. I think he beats the applause for Matt!

    I love Muse!

    Queen ... You are legends!

  • this makes me feel good

  • I love the Egyptian vibe this song this takes on at certain points

  • @kramergamer1 i agree.

  • @kramergamer1 yeah, like in the part "tan tan tan tan tan tan tan tan tan tan tan" but i believe is some more arabic :S

  • @kramergamer1 It sounds more Spanish to me, It's almost the same, I guess.

  • @kramergamer1 we all though it's egyptian but the truth is it is persian :p
