Je suis tombé amoureux de la Corse dès que j'ai débarqué à l'île Rousse ! Alors quand j'ai découvert le reste, je n'en parle même pas !

it`s the corsican accent which makes that sound i think it`s more a question of an accentuated o cooo that it makes it sound like a g i think. it is very similiar though to other italian dialects
