I think, the Dopefish isn't that dangerous like it is shown in the vid! Only when he bytes, he is able to kill Keen. And he only bytes when there are the little green fish around you. In every other situation you can touch him without losing any life.
@strizic the temple of the forbidden you mean? well anyways you go to the moon pyramid and collect a bunch of inch worms once you have enough a huge foot will appear that you ride there but once you are there you have to finish the level to get back out. i hope that helps :)

I had to drop my old life, and then meditate in desolate mountains in isolation for 2 years before I could face this game once again. In hindsight, I shouldn't have wasted those 2 years.

Is there any other way to play it with sound?

There is a shortcut on the Isle of Fire. Instead of going down the pole, go one platform over. When the closest elevator comes up, use it as a springboard to jump to the next platform over. You can either take the elevators down or jump across the firey platforms to the pole you'd ordinarily climb up. There is a slightly risky shortcut on the Isle of Tar. On the platform w/ the raindrop pyramid, take a running leap over to the narrow strip of land on the other side of the big tar pit.

Not until you let yourself fall the pole behind him and quickly pogo the blue gem later on, at least (man, i *love* doing that). We should program such sprites to be in fury when you do them such tricks :P
