  • civil war reenacting is the best thibng ever and great song by the way!

  • I removed some comments from someone call NawwLeans because I try not to allow his type of language to be used on this channel. If you go to his page you will see what I mean.

  • cool vod! thanks for posting.

  • Bravo! Member of SCV Camp #1525, SWCWA, and ACWC.

    Deo Vindice!

  • honkies and rednecks, hillbillies, and white trash too, pots of nasty tabacco and dirty white kids with no shoes!!

  • @Limazulu85 ) Best you stay in the house & hide boy

. them ganbangers in your hood might be aiming for your sister.

  • Don boy pretends(?) to be ignorant of the true horrors perpetrated by Yankee slavers during their MIDDLE PASSAGE!

One of the "kinder" things Blackbirder's did was keep the slaves from killing themselves VOLUNTARILY (cause then the Yanks lost MONEY).

Slave wouldn't eat -- Yankees would beat them, use thumbscrews or force open jaws (& force feed) recalcitrant blacks!

Anyone wonder why slaves lost the will to live and maybe 1/5 JUST DIED!

It gets MUCH WORSE & I got LOTS more.

    Don boy!

  • @DonMeaker

    Poor answer!

Yankee BLACKBIRDER's were MASS MURDERERS. Dumped WHOLE SHIPLOADS of SLAVES overboard tied to anchor chain if Brit patrol boats got too close!

Reconstruction was a "crime" all right.

But it was a crime committed by the US Congress (not white Southerners) in 1867!

So much of a "crime" that Northerners of good conscience became sickened and worked to have it stopped. Federal veterans stated they had not fought to have the South governed by ignorant blacks.

  • @DonMeaker

Ole (dis) Honest Abe "preserved" his "GLORIOUS UNION" in the same manner as a man whose wife is divorcing (leaving) him preserves his marriage by beating his wife senseless & dragging her home by her hair!

Bet you think Abe's the "patron saint of race relations" who just REVERED black folks! Abe was as VILE a RACEIST as ever held office.

Just read what he wrote -- his own words condemn him! He was just another BIGOTTED Yank white supramacist!

    Abe wanted blacks deported!

  • Yanks despised blacks! By 1860, IL,IN, IA & OR all PROHIBITED BLACKS from entering!

    D. Wilmot (PA Congress critter) of the Wilmot Proviso (baring slavery in land taken from Mexico) had no "squeamish sensitiveness .. or morbid sympathy (concerning black slavery) .. I plead the cause of the free WHITE man". Wilmot (a WHITE SUPREMACIST) urged the West be reserved for WHITES because "the NEGRO race already occupies enough of this fair continent".

Most Yanks were/are BIGOTS & HYPOCRITES!!

  • And the southrons loved blacks so much they fathered many children on them, right?

  • @DonMeaker

Ya know - miscegenation did occur -- lot's by Northern scalawags & carpetbaggers!

The South tolerated free blacks, unlike your Yankee "free soil" hypocrites!

Why don't you tell us what Southerners (as a group) EVER DID to blacks that even comes close to the monsterous inhumane CRIMES perpetrated BY YANKEES during the MIDDLE PASSAGE?

Your YANKEE ancestors greedy, bloodstained hands WERE ALL OVER the slave trade !

Slavery was a US PROBLEM, not just a Southern one!

  • I submit that reconstruction was sufficent crime, to include the lynchings, was sufficient crimes. And why were those virtuous southrons so willing to buy such cargo? Without a buyer, there is no market. At some time the Brown family decided to make some amends for their part in the slave trade. Brown University was one of the results. Ossowatomie Brown was another.

  • @DonMeaker

Virtuous Yanks & free blacks also "willingly" bought slaves. DON"T you EVER FORGET -- slavery was a US PROBLEM.

AMSWER QUESTION -- What did Southerners (as a group) ever do to blacks that even COMPARES to the DELIBERATE CALCULATED YANKEE HORROR (moviated purely by greed) of the MIDDLE PASSAGE??

You Yankee hypocrites want to look down your long noses at the slavery in the South then use "selective memory loss" to PRETEND you weren't in it up to YOUR LYING DENYING eyeballs!

  • This is sad, but, in 1812 the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that Negros were not humans and could be owned as property. Another sad fact; the Supreme Court of the United States in 1973 made killing unborn babies legal.

I wonder how much longer it will before euthanasia of old people will be legal.

  • The war was about slavery read a book instead of what people tell you .There were No slaves in the northern states except for Deleware which had about 1600 and New Jersey which had under 100 while the total population of slaves were around 4 million. The southern states set up a government identicle to the old republic except for slavery, plus read the many seccession documents they all mention slavery multiple times.I know it was'nt the only reason but I'm convinced it was a huge part.

  • First let me correct something. Not ALL of the secession documents mention slavery. Second was slavery legal in the United States? The answer is yes and in fact was protected by the United States Constitution. So maybe it is YOU who should read a book instead of Yankee LIES which are taught in the school system.

  • @rebelscott1865 So tell me, what section of the constitution protects slavery? I don't know of any.

  • @DonMeaker Article 4 section 2. If it mandated that slaves be returned to their owners that must surely mean that it was protecting slavery. Right?

  • @rebelscott1865 And just for the record, I believe Slavery was a horrible thing. But lets not confuse the issue, Slavery is not the reason why the North invaded the South.

  • @rebelscott1865 But it is the reason why the South resorted to the illegal and unconstitutional acts of secession.

  • @DonMeaker Don, secession was taught at West Point. Are you really telling me that they would teach unconstitutional acts at West Point Military Academy which is run by the U.S. Government? The text book was William Rawle's "Views of the Constitution". From the book,"The secession of a state from the union depends on the will of the people of such state. The people alone as we have already seen, hold the power to alter their constitution."

  • Two books you can read are The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government Vol. I and II by Jefferson Finis Davis. He should know what he is talking about since the U.S. government was afraid to bring him to trial.

  • @garrywenkev

That war was fought over SECESSION ALONE. I can name about six causes for secession.

If fought over slavery -- then give me a verifiable quote from one MAJOR Yank general or politician stating they were fighting tor free the slaves!

BTW, you need to know it was New Eng. owned ships & crews that flooded the US with blacks. In doing so they perpetrated the monsterous crime called the MIDDLE PASSAGE.

Northern slavery proved uneconomical so Yanks sold their slaves South

  • You are right. The war was over Southern rebellion, not over slavery. But why did the South rebel? Because the Republicans wanted to restrict Slavery in the western territories. That would have forced the South to come up with a viable economy, rather than slash and burn agriculture, moving west when their agriculture, dumbed down so it could be performed by slaves kept ignorant, spoiled the land.

  • Actually the North fought to stop the rebellion. The South rebelled to promote and extend slavery. In the way of that rebellion, they committed theft and any number of war crimes. Shame on them.

  • @DonMeaker

Abe's ILLEGAL war was fought over SECESSION ONLY. There never was any REBELLION. South simply wanted to exercise their right to leave the UNION, PEACEFULLY, if allowed to do so.

Remember, the SCOTUS never EVER declared Secession ILLEGAL!

North could continue the Union as long as they pleased.

Why are ONLY Yank generals remembered as BUTCHERS, ARSONISTS and WAR CRIMINALS; that's Grant (Cold Harbor), Sherman (GA) and Sheridan (Shen. Valley - Fall '64). Why, sonny why?

  • Here are the facts the WORLD KNOWS:

1 -- Yanks had 3X the men and 10X thr means of the CSA!

2 -- To win, ALL Yanks had to do was move less than 100 mi. south of DC & take Richmond!

3 -- Took Yanks 4 years, yes that's 208 (count 'um) wks. of Southern GLORY to "win".

WORLD considers the above & concludes EITHER:

A -- CSA had huge brass balls that clanked when they walked!

    OR

B -- Yanks were a bunch of lil' whiny pussies whose bowels turned to H2O upon hearing a "Rebel yell"

    OR BOTH

  • I agree th southern soldiers were brave. Over 40 regiments of them served with the Union.

  • @DonMeaker

Well sonny, name just name THIRTY-NINE Yank regiments composed entirely of Southerners for the entire war.

See pages 184 thru 195 of "Recollections of a Private Soldier" by Federal Arty. Lt. Frank Wilkeson. Read his contempt for Abe's 169K "bounty paid" soldiers of '64-'65.

He wrote, "They robbed the dead. They stole from the living. They were suspected of killing wounded men at night. More COWARDLY creatures were never clad in the uniform of an English speaking people."

  • I refer you to the Memoirs of US Grant, which named 40 regiment in the appendix.

  • @DonMeaker

Well, Northerners in significant numbers also supported the CSA .

Neither YOU or GRANT know much about the White Southern Union Rgts. Way more than forty -- 85 actually. (51-TN, 10ea.-AR & LA, 4ea.-NC & TX, 1ea, AL, AR, GA,M S, & VA).

I'm from NC and only know about the 1st & 2nd NC Union Vols. A bunch draft dogers, CSA deserters, white trash (envious of their betters) & "bounty paid" cowards whose Union officers called "our home guard thieves".

    We piss on their graves!

  • GOD BLESS, DIXIE

    & ALL TRUE PATRIOTS!

    Praise The LORD

    and Pass The Ammunition!

    DEO VINDICE!

  • @Limazulu85 ) What a Trolling Twitt you are boy!

  • That song aout sums up the feelings of all us true Confederates.

What I find funny is the fact that you can never find this kind of zeal and refusal to give up on the union side of things.

The spirit of Southern nationalism will never die.

  • Im in the sons of confederate vetrans camp 2141 great video.

    drumer boy-7th virginia infentry

  • Thank you. I am a member of Camp 1308 Lt. Gen. Richard Taylor. I am also a corporal in the 11th La. Co. K Shreveport Rebels.

  • sweet i wish people new the truth about the war.

  • WE re-enact it to remeber all those who fought and died for what they belived in

  • Why does the south re-enact a war they LOST?!

  • Living history re-enactors do more than just re-enact the War Between the States? You may as well ask why British re-enactors take part in Revolutionary War enactments.

  • You can conquer the body, But you can never

conquer the sole , When the conquered were right.

  • The South did not start the war. The South did not wont the war. The South fought for right. The north

    fought for TAX'S

  • to try to teath the truth of the war. like the lie that all southerners had slaves, not true most didnt have them only the rich had then and no robert e lee didnt have them eather

  • Grant owned slaves! the war was horrible, not started to end slavery, but good it ended, I am Southern, the war made the US one nation again and we became the strongest nation of all.Long live Dixie and the USA

  • becouse the war wasnt about slavery and were teaching that.

  • I alredy am one!

  • "Ok time to learn history", Mario. Okay, here goes. Slavery was never listed as a cause for the Civil War. In fact slavery was still legal in the North when the war started, though a few states had abolished it by state law. Lincoln didn't issue the Emancipation Proclamation until 1863, two years into the war. And it only freed the slaves in the South, not the North. Though the point was moot until the South was defeated. The Emancipation Proclamation was writeen as a political tool...more

  • to keep the British from joining the South, which they were considering. The Northern slaves were not freed until 1865, after the war was over, with the passage of the 13th Amendment to the Constituion. If the North was fighting to free the slaves, why had they not free their own? In fact the Constituion allowed for states to secede. What we did was legal. The Federal Congress ignored the Constitution and declared war on the South illegaly because the loss of revenue from the South....more

  • would have bankrupted the Federal treasury. The reasons for secession were many, not the least of which was the fact that Lincoln was elected without an electoral majority. But slavery was not one of those reasons. Now there is some real history for you, Mario. Doesn't the truth just suck, bud?

  • GOD BLESS DIXIE!

  • LONG LOVE THE FEDERAL GOVT

  • That El Chicos is on Fern Ave. in Shreveport, La. Ask for Scott. I am sure that we can discuss this issue face to face and I am also sure that you will not use such "colorful" language.

  • Mario left a message on this page that was a curse laden tirade that I have chosen to delete and to block his further post. I went to his site and found out that he is an 18 year old that likes BMX and BEAVIS and BUTTHEAD. Enough said. Mario if you want to discuss this in person I can be found at El Chicos, on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7pm.

  • This comment is so stupid I refuse to even acknowledge it as a coherent statement.

  • wow I'm amazed you can use big words congrats

  • ok you stupid yankee the south tried to stop slavery the north wanted to keep it! the rebel flag never flew over a slave ship it was the union flag!!! the south will rise again look at all the rebels fighting in iraq and look at all the rebel truck drivers dont forget the rebels working 4 nasa and working in arsenals!!! their are a ton of rebels working in dynOmite factories too!!! • Awesome Video 5 stars!

Where did you get this song? I can't seem to find it on Limewire. Do you have the CD?

  • Yes I do have it on cd. It is Trace Atkins and I think it is on limewire.

  • Farbish. I always prefer the Butternut to the "cadet-grey"

  • Learn your colors limey. Thats confederate grey not cadet grey. cadet grey is almost a light blue.

  • Touche! On a serious note I just dont go much for the grey I think its been used to class all Confederates, i've never actually worn grey at all and olny seen a half a company wearing it before.

  • Just messin with ya. I have a butternut uniform also. Were do ya'll reenact and were can I see some pics?

  • Type into google (or whatever ya wish) Southern Skirmish Association (OR) Soskan.

I sometimes reenact with the Volunteer Company. which is like a campaign style company they detached so we could take it further than the mainstream.

  • I will fight any battle. Anywhere.

    Confederate to the end.

  • I saw one scene showing a guy talking on a cell phone. I was totally unaware of the fact that rebs used cell phones back in 1863.

  • wireless telegraph

  • We're very tech-savvy.
