  • what happens when you get to the end of the line?

  • @DieselSmoke92 On every rail car there is a cab on both sides, what they do is hock maybe 2 or 4 cars together in this case 3, when the motor man get's to the end of the line he/she puts the train in nurture then walks the other side unlocks the cab door slams it shut put's the key in, turns it to forward and drives it to the other end then repeats.

  • @kool880 Sounds easy. How many hour shifts do these people do for running the LRT?

  • @DieselSmoke92 It all very's depending on what you'er planing to do. there's night shifts, day shifts and evenings so sometimes you work a 5 or 12 hour shift.

  • @kool880 Alright thanks.

  • @DieselSmoke92 You were pretty curious of what happens at the end point. I have a video of what happens at the end point which I shot from Century Park couple months ago. I recommend you to see this if you want to see background of the process. When I shot the powering up part where the driver puts the key in I just missed the motorman walk on the train. You could sort of see him in side the cab in the shot of it from the front outside. Its a pretty good video I think you might like it.

  • @rwolfert1 Sweet.

  • Deadmonton's going to be very sorry when it starts laying track down 104 ave/Stoney Plain Rd./156 st./87 ave.!!! Calgary's 7th Ave. transit mall has had it's fair share of accidents (and the mall is only for transit and EMS). This plan to put tracks in the middle of a road is going to be bedlam for Edmonton's trains, traffic and pedestrians!!! What a halfassed plan that city council has created!!!!!

  • @buynowpayl8ter Yaa but well see how it go's

  • I also saw this same thing happen one day in the River Valley while it was crossing the river southbound.Very interesting.

  • This LRT ride you taped from SouthCampus to Century Park is very good and I like it.The sound of the brakes applied when the train stop on the way was very nosiy and i like that sound. You also show the motormans dashboard of the LRT and thats part of of any vehicles I like.I can draw them on paper by looking at a good image of them.

  • @rwolfert1 Well I do what I can and thanks for the comment.

  • I'm surprised the driver let you record from the front of the train. They usually have themselves locked in there where you can't talk to them.

  • its better than getting shit on all the time from an eagle.... USA.. U Suck Ass.... now i know people down there that are cool. but for the rest of u inbreads.... grow the fuck up...

  • why is the ROW twice as wide as it needs to be? what a waste of space, and it looks ugly.

  • i like this driver's eye view! I haven't been to Edmonton myself, but my older sister had.

  • Nice ride, and thank you for uploading ^_^
