personally, that is my proof of reincarnation. the spirits of heron and snake were originally taught by the god/dess and after it's body dies it comes back in another body, the heron knows hoe to capture the snake, and the snake knows how to delay his demise. this is called "instinct" appearently and animals are supposed to know exactly how to live and take care of themselves as if by magick.....oh, wait a minute...
Haha! He did! He ate the snake. That was wild. Personally I have a dislike for snakes, tho I respect them as creatures of nature. The heron did a little victory strut, a flap, and a glide. How funny, there at the end he's voicing his trimuph! LOL What a great area you have there to relax in. Thx 4 sharing. BB.
When I was little, maybe 5 or 6, I saw a cat kill and eat a mouse. I was devastated, horrified, and I ran to my mom, told her what happened, and was crying buckets. She told me that that's just how life works. She pointed out that this way, the mouse died for a purpose, to give food and life to another animal, rather than senselessly, like getting hit by a car or something. So take heart, gorgeousbutterfly.
There are many different type of snakes. It would only be dangerous if this was a poisonous snake but it seems this was a constrictor, the way the snake wrapped its body around the beak, so its bite is harmless.
I was so happy the other day that on the way back from grocery shopping i caught a glimpse of my blue heron flying over head it was so great to see my friend!
Nature feeds nature, dear! Why do you think there are so many smaller fish, and when you get to a big one, they lay so few? Owls, ferrets, snakes, hawks all feed on mice, right? Gotta feed'em somehow! So, make a lot of babies! We, as humans, explain too damn many things away that just are!
Just playing devil's advocate...but whose to say that it is less cruel to eat grass or wheat? Plants give off electro-mag energy just as animals do. Where is the line safely drawn?
Most grass-eating animals use the grass to make something within their body. Cows, for example ... where do you think the milk process gets started? It's not bubblegum they are chewing! Um, you are asking a 'god' question, to one who does not hold that idea. All natural life on this planet is in a food chain to other critters. Did you ever think killer whales eat seals?
Nature is so amazing!! I love it...We have a lake by my house that I go swimming at ( Its safe lol) and there is a big white heron that lives near the dock that we jump off of and fish off of. So we see him like every time so we named him Herold lol and each time we catch a fish and it jumps onto the dock Herold swoops down and eats it! :-) circle of life I guess
Five minutes of pure bliss :)

why couldn't god make nature less cruel why can't they just be biologically made to eat grass or wheat?
