The opening "My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive." comes from the comic book at the beginning before the story, at least from the only one I have at home. This movie is possible and marketable with the right people doing it. Would like to see him break some laws of physics with his super speed, as shown, like running up the side of a building. That would be "very interesting".

According to Warner Bros. studio heads the only progress made on this film is a second draft of a script based on Geoff Johns work on the character. The earliest we'll see this film is 2014 regardless of whatever IMDB would have you believe. Ryan Gosling would make a great Barry Allen. However with Green Lantern failing to really make a profit there's a good chance that WB will never stray from Batman and Superman when it comes to adapting DC superheros to the big screen which is unfortunate.

This guy is one of my favorite superheroes of all time, no doubt about it. I can't wait for the official trailer to release. According to IMDb it premiers in 2013, so I assume that by this time next year we will already have some basic information (unless it will air on early 2013, and not in the summer, which obviously means that an official trailer and info will be released earlier next year). if you search it online the producers said they were going to use Barry instead of Wally because that way they could make the movie slightly darker due to Barry being a CSI. They also said that their inspirations for the movie were "se7en" and "Silence of the Lambs", and that they hoped to make it darker than the newer superhero movies, but less dark than the "Dark Knight".

We all know it's fake. The real flash movie is being developed with Geoff Johns, the current and previous writer of the Flash, working on the script along with Warner Bros. No casting, no set script, and definitely no footage.

We all know it's fake. The real flash movie is being developed with Geoff Johns, the current and previous writer of the Flash, working on the script along with Warner Bros. No casting, no set script, and definitely no footage.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the trailer for the actual movie, but I've just confirmed that Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Michael Green are working together to make a Flash movie. I nearly wet my pants, but yea. It's said to have a dark tone to it, and they ARE in fact using Barry Allen in the film. This is gonna be epic, I hope.
