  • At the Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary in Northern NSW Australia we have many mini lop rabbits up for adoption to good homes. We have rabbits in all sizes and colours and ages. Sometimes we have baby rabbits if a female rabbit comes into the Rabbit Adoption Centre pregnant but mostly we can offer young rabbits and adult rabbits for adoption. Phone: 0416062947 if you would like to help our rabbit rescue efforts and adopt a rabbit or two! We also provide assistance and advice to rabbit owners.

  • WTF? I just use metal garbage cans with holes poked through the lids. Fuck this expensive bunny condo shit. They're just going to end up on bread anyway.

  • @TheRudeAmerican Your username is so true -_-

  • BORING you should get off youtube and make a new name and start new videos that is expressive.

  • OMG this is soooooooooo boring!!! u dont even sound like u know anything bout taking care of a rabbit!!! GOSH

  • @BluOceanBubbles thanks for ur comments they have been helpful :) my rabbit is very pleased :)

  • @thejingle20 She even says in the video you should have a litter box, and shows you three types you could get. Did you even watch the video?

  • @thejingle20 advice in the first place.

  • @thejingle20 Wow, you really are one of the dumbest and ignorant people I've ever heard. I feel really bad for your little sister, she has to actually LIVE with you. You clearly know nothing about rabbits, and you should NEVER get a pet. You sound like you're 9, really get a life. BluOceanBubbles was giving you good advice and was trying to help, but your such an ignorant pile of shit that you wouldn't even listen to the advice. If you're going to do nothing but talk shit, don't even ask for

  • I don't got no room for some huge cage that takes up space.

  • hahahahah @ the pool they wont be able to run around in that!! its to small!

  • My rabbit had a cage a little bit bigger that this but everyday I let it free in my room to run and then it went alone into his cage ! Awsome rabbit.... I miss it a lot ... I had to give it to a pet shop because I got a dog... :'(

  • My rabbit lives in my room (As now 8.58pm) she is licking my foot ;D

  • What a ugly muggly lol

  • this is horrible he has no space to run

  • my bunnies will pee in the litter box but poo all over its very frustrating. how can i let my bunnies have the freedom to live all over the house and still keep my bunnies and house clean?

  • sorry I only watched half way cuz I get bored easily but good vid.

  • I don't have enough room for a pen sor is it okay to use the cage if I let him out in my room for 5 hours. My room is rabbit proof 100% because wires are protected,There is no plants in my room that may be poisoness, any poisoness things are free, there is enough room for jumping and running.

If you think I should put a pen somewhere in the house well I have a littles sister the age of 2 and she does not understand the consept of leaving things alone.

  • @thejingle20 That means that the rabbit would be in the cage for 19 hours per day - that's quite a lot of time to be cooped up if you put into perspective.

Since the room is completely bunny-proofed, why not let him have complete free range of the room all day? He would be much happier this way. You could use the cage as a base, leaving the door open all the time so he can retreat in there to pee and eat. :) If this isn't an option I would use a dog crate instead of a cage

  • @BluOceanBubbles Actually my mom doesn't like rabbit droppings om my floor and she doesn't want to waste sheets for it. Aslo what it my rabbit was by the door and I axedentally opened it and hit my rabbit so its a bad idea. And for one thing I'm against training ur rabbit to be potty trained because its not right! And dog crates are NO are u crazy thats a stupidest idea I ever herd because my rabbit choked from his cage wich had gaps afcourse and it choked from getting scared!!

  • @thejingle20 Rabbits are easily litter trained. I know many, many people who have their rabbits free-range in a room without any problems whatsoever. I think you will find that it is natural instinct for rabbits to poo and pee in one place - if your rabbit is peeing everywhere then it is unhygienic and can also be an indication of urinal problems. Litter training a rabbit presents NO problems WHATSOEVER - you are being ludicrous.

Loads of people use dog crates for rabbits without problems.

  • @BluOceanBubbles What does ludicrous mean?

Well I looked it up and it is UNEXCEPTABLE to put your rabbit in a dog crate!!!

And again I AM AGAINST RABBIT POTTY TRAINING because wild rabbits never were potty trained they just went were ever. Rabbits are not cats they are rabbits they do not need to be potty trained they can be trained but not potty trained, its also a waste of money to buy its litter and box.

  • @thejingle20 Ludicrous means ridiculous.

If it is "unacceptable" then why does the RSPCA encourage owners to use dog crates instead of cages? You obviously do not know a lot about rabbits.

When a rabbit is neutered, it will naturally pee and poo in one place - sometimes, some rabbits tend to pee in different places. All they need is a bit of encouragement to pee in one place. Litter training is far more hygienic and better for your bunny. I really don't know why you are being so ignorant.

  • @BluOceanBubbles And I don't care anymore the rspca isn't my problem and I obviously train rabbits

I have a life and you don't so go get a life and talk to someone who actually cares about what you say.

  • @thejingle20 I think it is rather funny that you have chosen to completely ignore everything I said, simply because you know that I am right and you cannot offer a contradiction to my statements.

If you are such a good "trainer" then you would be at least able to litter train a rabbit. If you think it is cruel then go and tell every cat owner to stop litter training their cats - it is exactly the same principle.

  • @BluOceanBubbles Your statements are GAY. because your probably looking this up and I for one don't stupid.

And I'm going to crash your computer if and send a virus that get past anti-viruses if you don't SHUT UP.

And rabbits are not CATS bitch. they are rabbits part rodent and mammal so go GET a life 4 year old

    LOL

  • @thejingle20 Oh wow, you really are as thick as pig shit. Send me all the viruses you like, I really don't care.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about. Rabbits are not rodents at all - they are lagomorphs, which is a completely different taxonomic order to rodents. Please learn your taxonomic ranks before you start embarrassing yourself, LOL.

People like you are proof that evolution can go in reverse.

  • @BluOceanBubbles I'm sorry I don't talk to bitch losers like you

    LMAO

  • @thejingle20 Aw, is someone a little butthurt?

Laughing at your own jokes is quite sad, don't you think?

  • @BluOceanBubbles I'm sorry but I don't talk to losers like you

  • @BluOceanBubbles I think that's called "devolution." Lol. . .very funny. It's amazing how much BAD information is out there on every subject under the sun. So-called experts. . .Wow. "X" is a "has been". "Spert" is a drip under pressure.

  • can you put hay in a boil and it will eat it or is that bad for your bunny will eat it or will it be bad for the bunny

  • @juicylovers97 Hay is the most important part of a rabbit's diet! If you aren't giving your rabbit unlimited hay it is a BIG cause for concern - hay should make up 85% of a bunny's diet, therefore an unlimited fresh supply of hay (not alfalfa hay) is crucial. Hay keeps the teeth trimmed and the gut healthy - a rabbit that does not have enough hay in his/her diet will be prone to dental issues and GI stasis, which is often fatal if not treated.

  • lots of ugly things

  • thanks ,tis helped alot .....dose it count for giniea pigs....

  • hey not trying to be mean but are you trying to make us spend like 500 hundred bucks cause i live in a tropical place so it cold then hot then cold but i got a big house so ill let it stay in the house

  • this gave a lot of facts so i think it was very good.

  • On the bottom i meant to say it could teach me responsibility when I have my kids.

  • My dad thinks rabbits are a big mess and I really want one. What should I tell him. I want one because it cow

  • Dont tell us what not to do 0:10 tell us what to do !

  • OK SO I GOT MY BUNNY ALONG TIME AGO AND NOW SHE IS BITING ME WELL ON ANY LOOSE THINGS OR SOMETIMES ME SHE RUNS AWAY FROM ME ALL THE TIME AND I HAVE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH RABBITS AND IT WAS NOT LIKE THIS ONE I JUST WANT HER TO STOP BITING AND I GAVE HER TOYS A LOT OF THINGS TO GNAW ON BUT SHE STILL BITES ME PLZZZ SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!

  • @bubblegum101xp that means the rabbit feels threatened, dont be too aggressive or pick it up too much or keep shouting or calling it or dragging it or something. you have to let the rabbit feel safe, let it run around the room but make sure you are watching it! and try giving it treats :) not too much though, go research!

  • what if u have a small cage but when ur home u let ur rabbit run around all day??

  • @petratsrock LOL!

  • @petratsrock lol

  • Weirrddd lady o.o

  • @AnabelleSmiles why?

  • my little lady sugar plum hunny love actually jus lives inside, free to roam!!!! she sleeps in or/ under mine/my brother's bed,, and does her dirty stuff in the toilet room!! bcuz she followed my brother into the toilet and saw him pee so she decided that she should do the same!!!!!!! I love my sweetie pie!!

ps.. she licks like a puppy!!!! and chases after to me to bite me!! (well play bite anyways)

  • You can use pine as long as it's not really scented.

  • @qwertty57 Nope!

  • @LanaesRabbitry

Yes you can, I used it alot in my rabbitry but now i get shavings from a furniture building place.

  • @qwertty57 You CAN use it, you CAN use anything, but it still doesn't mean it's good for them.

  • @LanaesRabbitry

My rabbits aren't dead or sick yet so how about you stop making a fuss about stupid shit?

  • @qwertty57 Not making a fuss, just more experienced and sharing my knowledge. ;)

  • do they REALLY NEED a litter box??!?!? PLEASE REPLY!!

  • @boxerlove2000 no. but you can use one if you dont want pee in every corner :)

  • @rodeogirl13245 oh thanks:)

  • To everyone saying it's better to keep a pet rabbit outside, think about this: we humans have selectively bred traits into out pets that do not exist naturally in non domesticated animals. Pet rabbits are domesticated animals, much like cats and dogs. They need to be groomed and fed special diets and cannot be left outside ignored and forgotten. They are social animals and need human companionship to survive. We made them this way, and now we have to stick with it, we cant decide to "send them

  • thank you for this video. sorry the others are so cruel.

  • ooooooooo we dont have raccons in england lol

  • Do wild rabbits have heat and air conditioning?

  • @purity4all haha good point! But actually they grow better coats for winter and shorter coats for summer then domestic buns. And I still think outside is better. I don't wanna live with rabbit smell in my house for the rest of my life.

  • @dedebear33 i agree

  • @missnowitall SHUT UP all u do is wine "noooo not this way that way oh no blah blah blah" be QUIET

  • Ur so fukin dumb clearly rabbits are outdoor animals yu should keep them outside in the day time mabey in a pen and bring them indoors in the daytime dumshit

  • Wow my old comment is still there...... (my old account was DontKickMySocks.)

MY RABBIT IS EVIL!!!!! This is a great video but, I got a rabbit and named him foofoo....

And he's evil he only likes my older sister. He'll bite anyone else who tries to touch him. >8(

  • what if u keep it in the cage but excersise it daily you know?

  • my rabbit has been outside since birth, so i don't really know what you are talking about

  • she does not know anything. bunnies are not supposed to be kept in a cage. duh

  • i have seen many expert village mvies but im not sure if its better or not

  • Honestly, that cage could be the same size as a hut. rabbit huts are just more expensive because theyre made of wood and lifted off the ground, yet they could be exactly the same size. You could just get a cage to use as a comfort place with some hay and a litterbox and use a doggy gate to keep the bunny his own space with fleece/blankets... You know, so hes comfy and has food and a bed and a litterbox (:

  • can you use kitty litter?

  • My sister just got a bunny so thanks for the tips

  • where can i buy those pens?

  • :P

  • what if i put a hutch outside and he's only outside during the summer, would that be okay? thanks

  • @selenafan50 nooooooooooo it would not because they could get overheated

  • @selenafan50 Hey there, my first bunny died two years ago, she was perfectly healthy and everything, but when we let her out in the garden, a few days after it, a dog jumped to our garden and took her and kill her. So you really need to make sure no animals can go there, and even rats, they usually kill rabbits too, so be very careful with that because they're really vulnerable outside. I hope I helped!

  • @selenafan50 Noooo!! Like the lady mentioned in this video, your rabbit will be over-heated and then get cold...and you must know there are predators such as snakes blah blah..beware of thieves too!! You know last time my bunny got stolen by someone T_T and be careful of bugs as well..there are bugs and they might sting or 'live' on rabbits' body! (forgot the word in english ==)

  • The second litter box is not a good one. Rabbits can't digest their food all the way the first time and have two kinds of poop pellets. One is actually poop and the second is more like a vitamin pill that they have to go back and eat. If their poop (and therefore special poop) drops into a place they can't get to, then they can't eat it.

Other than that the review was good. Never use Pine or Cedar, it can cause respiratory issues. Avoid drafts for the same reason.

  • i keep my rabbit in a cage at night with food water and her bed ...but during the day or sometimes at night when its good weather i keep her in a pen like what you said with water toys food litter and her hut and etc. is that healthy for her...

  • Comment removed

  • iam only 13 yrs old i cant afford a house for my rabbit and i dont know where i will place it ...can i use a huge box on it..?

  • @abalosroneth u can make a condo u can keep it in a box make sure its tall and put a fence around it like one mad out of wood because it could chew its way out

  • Actually its best for rabbit to be outdoors fresh air is good and plus its there nature to live outside.

  • @HotCoco62 i defeniteley agree myrabbit seemed much happier outside.

  • in America do you have the disease for rabbits called Myxomatosis?

  • how many box will i need if i got 2 bunnies at home .. i used to put them on a cage but i want them to do there stuff freely in my house ,,,

  • @jenzy03 2 litter boxes.they like to use the "restroom"in their on spot.and most rabbits will refuse if anothe is using theirs.and sometimes fight

  • actually your wrong about the cage.It is big enough if you have a big one and you can always put them in a play pen!

  • my friend said it is better to keep them outside because they will get use to the natural environment and they will become stronger and healthier.

  • i have a huge wire cage and i let my rabbit out every day. my cage is like that but 3x bigger

  • @1BunnyHelpChannel1

ohh, you have a big cage. how much is that in peso?

  • @marista31 what is that? in inches it is 40in. in length 18in. in width and 20in; ion hight. big, isn't it? i'm not german, i don't know what "peso" is.

  • 3 people like expert village

  • i have rabbits but is it safe to feed it bannanas

  • expert village tells you like 2 things that you can find on google easily!

  • this woman is talking silly! its better to keep a rabbit outside its more natural for them to be kept ouside to and they have a thick coat to keep themselfs warm although u need another kind of cage for a rabbit the outside kind of cage!

  • @maxyblack0 Wth? YOU don't know what you are talking about. Outside, rabbits aren't protected from predators.

  • @MsKaylaSweet9 you dont get it im not that stupid to just get a normal cage and put it with the rabbit outside you need a kind of hutch that has a real locked lock plus in the wild rabbits seem to do fine and get away with most animals and plus plus in my country theres no snakes and stuff like that foxes yea but i live far away from the hills

  • I want to keep my rabbit outside in summer and indoor in winter is that allright or would that be bad for the rabbit? I'll make sure the rabbit will have shade and water in summer..

  • @LunaTemari this woman is talking silly u can keep a rabbit outside its actually better becouse its more nattural weather and they have a thick coat so they can keep warm although you need a cage with walls!

  • What kind of house should we use for them then? Because You said what kind of housing isnt right. You only said that they should stay indoors. I really want a rabbit :p :D

  • @juliapeace896 actually she did say for proper housing. watch it all the way though! i luv bunies too!also watch lily and savanah vid on rabbits.

  • FUCKING AWESOME!! You need your own show!

  • FUCKING AWESOME!! You need your own show!

  • YOU FUCKING SUCK

  • um excuse me?? that rabbit doesnt have much room in there at all to streach out at all!

  • these videos are great if your getting a rabbit or if you have one, it will really help you

  • are they sociable? meaning should i get two rabbits instead of one?

  • @NickNoRtHeRnLiGhTs as long as they were raised together or are intoduced at a young age.. then yes ! its good to have two or more rabbits! but unless you want baby bunnies than keep two of the same sex (preferably females)

  • Comment removed

  • can you potty train them then let them free roam

  • @Jack5458 Yup, thats like my rabbit.

  • I agree with everything said in this video. I do not believe rabbits should be housed simply in cages.

  • such a good vid , but dont sound so boring . do somthing intresting , sound intresting , DO SOMTHING, thank you.

  • so much better than expert village and thanks soooooooo much becuz i was going to get a rabbit but my parentsw said it had to stay outside so when they watched this they changed there mind now i have a rabbit names lollipop

  • Yeah better, but not the relaxing mode one! This girl is off about the relaxing mode!

  • that lady is weird.

  • @KauwelaKahakai why?

  • this is great!

  • thanks I will try to convince my parents to get a cage like the ones you mentioned

  • dang it i dont want a holland lop anymo

  • @dorthy6789 why?

  • can i put my rabbit cage with my rabbit in the balcony? it has some sort of roof and there's sunlight there. would that be okay? and are wood shavings alright for bedding? in expertvillage, they say that wood shavings can cause respiratory problems to the rabbit. thanks

  • i keep my rabbit ouside because i personally believe that they need to be in their natural habitat, they are not indoor animals. also i have a bottle snug to stop the water from freezing. and i bring him in the house loads and he can go wherever he wants, which is what he needs :)

  • @GablesHorse Yes, regular outdoor exercise is good BUT NEVER unsupervised and it should not be where the bunny lives. Always inside a house is best. When outside with your rabbit, always be vary of prey animals that may get into your secured yard; raptors are a real concern.

  • i do not like expert village at all but this is so good i like favorited every video so far! lol ;)

  • that cage you showed in the beginning is bad too leave you bun in but is fine to let it sleep in :>)

  • kay look u look like a total retard...um ur face looks like a dork!!!!

  • that cage at the beginning is really mean. those pens afterwards are really nice :)

  • I once had a rabbit and a hampster at the same time. They were best friends. They did everything together. They ate next to each, they played with each other, and they once slept with each other. But one day my hampster died of old age. The rabbit was heart broken. He did nothing for days. Finaly, he died, shortly after the hampster. I miss them both. RIP Teddy Bear and April.

  • I'm going to get my first rabbit soon. I want to make it some cardboard toys. If it eats it by accident, will it do any harm?

  • This video is soooooooooo much better that expert village

  • @dedebear33 You are soooooooooooooo right :) !

  • better than expert village

  • @DontKickmySocks no, WAY ! better than expert village :)

  • @DontKickmySocks wayyyyyy better and plus a interactive monkey thing

  • what if your rabbit is under 4 pounds? she's a mini lop an i let her out everyday so its not like shes cramped. Is a small cage ok in that situation?

  • What id o is leave the cage open! provid water food and litter box that way she can run around and still be able to eat and go potty make sure she is potty trained

  • I am really thankful for this video. Currently, my rabbits are living in my apartment balcony(I secured it. It cannot jump outside). Once I litter train it, then it is welcome to my home. My mum doesn't allow the idea of pets inside the home since they poop here and there

  • Is it okay if I keep my rabbit in a large cage at night then let them out free range in my bedroom during the day?

  • yup perfectly fine.

  • YEP

  • Okayy....Well my sister and i both have rabbits.. At night we keep them in a cage and during the day when we are with them we let them out is this okayy??

  • yeah thats perfect!

  • why do you put them in a cage like that it's soooo small i have one like that for my guinea pig and he barely fit in it and they should have companions

  • Is it easy to bond rabbits?

  • um.... They make rabbit litter... also NO DONT KEEP YOUR RABBIT ON A BALCONY!!!!

  • Please don't keep your rabbit in a small cage like that. And never keep your rabbit alone. IT needs a partner!!!!!

  • she already said that it was too small of a cage

  • pine is fine for a rabbit stop saying it isnt

  • Pine isnt good it leads to respatory infections i use aspen it's alot safer for your pets dont use pine i say it's animal abuse if you know what it does to your pet but you dont get rid of the cause pine is really bad

  • @twilightlover123able I hear you.

  • ashleygot thats a great cage rabits need at least four feet of living space on the floor you have thirteen feet any cage you get you multiply the size of the base for example a 3fL by 6ftW by 1ftH you multiply 3 by 6 and get the answer 18ft of floor living space

  • were do you buy those little basket type building at 2:02 thanks

    ps:

i looked at pets unlimted still bever found any

  • Whose leg do you have to hump to get to talk in these videos? At least every other word wasn't um like the rest of these expert village videos.

  • I have three rabbits. They all live outside in a hutch. My day built a huge pen for them and they love it. They use there litter tray, but they miss most of the time.

What toys would be suitable for three average size rabbits.

By the way, I live in Austraila!

  • hi,

i commented but you couldent understand!,

well i got a NEW cage and its 4 ft by 2ft now

so this ones nice and i was woundering if the new one has a good living space????

thanks for your time and email me back ashleygot!!!

  • wat if my rabbits on the balcony

  • hi i was woundering cause im looking for a new cage the one i got is only 1 foot by one foot probally and is to small he cant stetch for anything, i was woundering if i got a cage that was 3 ft by 4 and a half feet would it be as good living space its have my hight and im 55 inches (i know im small) and also how much are thos playing pens thanks email me back

  • wha thappens if u let it play in a pen for about 5 hours a day inside im getting a rabbit and her its cage is going to be inside next to a pen on a table

  • nice very nice
