Hello, I'm Congressman Robert Wexler, and I'm a whiny, snivelly Kike cunt. My nose is fucking enormous, and my already extremely annoying jewy voice is rendered even more extrememly annoying by my nearly invisible, Kikey upper lip. If I were any bigger of a kike, I may burst into flames, or perhaps explode into a thousand bats and fly away.
You are the most anti-semite person I have ever read. I bet you are bad ass that hides when someone tells you what a ignorant ass you are. You are what is wrong with my United States of America. Start paying attention to what is going on in this world. I am not only talking about Iraq, but also the nazi policies of this administration. They are making government weak and strengthing corporations. Oil industry and VP write energy bill, credit card-bankruptcy, and pharmacuetical & insurance-drug.
"The nazi policies of this administration" interesting. Did you know that the true architects of the Iraq Invasion were Bush's JEW advisors? About 13 of them. Those corporations you mention? owned and operated by JEWS. Credit Cards? Pharmaceuticals? INSURANCE COMPANIES? you've got to be shitting me--ALL of these, OWNED by JEWS. Look up the CEO's of ANY company involved in any of the industries you just mentioned. It'll read like a Tel Aviv phone book. Yep, somebody needs to pay attention---YOU.
YOUR United States? Don't go there, please. My blood has been in North America since 1607, and every male in my family line has either served in the Military or been in a war since day one. I'm related to a signer of the Declaration of Independence. So..I doubt your claim on this country is stronger than mine. Guess what? you've been lulled into complacency by the very people you are defending. You think they give a fuck about you, goyim? You are their pawn..especially when you defend them
wow. You must be a historian or something. Did you know that the Nazi's didn't INVENT anti-semitism??? Yeah, it's been around for thousands of years. But thanks for throwing out the "nazi" card. People often do that when confronted with a truth they are uncomfortable with.

thank you, Rep Wexler. You are one few of that is listening to the will of the majority (81%) of the people.
From the NY Times 4/10/08: George W Bush had the audacity to claim:
"Fifteen months ago, Americans were worried about the prospect of failure in Iraq," he said, sounding a triumphant note about his decision last year to send 30,000 additional troops. "Today, thanks to the surge, we've renewed and revived the prospect of success."

On 9-10-2001....Rumsfeld Buries Admission of Missing 2+ Trillion Dollars in 9/10/01 Press Conference...Such a disclosure normally might have sparked a huge scandal. However, the commencement of the attack on New York City and Washington in the morning would assure that the story remained buried. To the trillions already missing from the coffers, an obedient Congress terrorized by anthrax attacks would add billions more in appropriations to fight the "War on Terror."

we need to enact the National Initiative so we can make laws as citizens. Our Government will never "correct itself". Common Sense will tell you that that's not possible.

You're absolutely right. If you look at campaign contributions, both parties more or less get the same amount. I believe it's called "covering your bets."
Scott Ritter unfortunately, has been been successfully discredited to some degree, however, there's no discrediting Hersh
Seymour Hersch is the man if you want to know gov. corruption. He's an excellent reference on domestic spying. His knowledge of NSA "Puzzle Palace" is comprehensive.
Seymour is a pathetic old moonbat who has been thoroughly discredited about military affairs. This poor senile buffoon wrote that our troops were not up to the job exactly one week before Iraq surrendered. he ws then caught in a huge lie in his propaganda piece about Abu Gharib. He has about a much credibility as a pedophile.
"Hersh casts extreme doubts on the cabal's findings that Iraq still possessed WMD by the time of the U.S. invasion. Too many of the cabal's sources are Iraqi exiles—such as Iraqi National Congress leader
Ahmad Chalabi or defectors with personal or political axes to grind—to be trusted, Hersh writes... (cont)
With Pentagon support, these spurious sources started telling their WMD/terrorism stories to the press, but most of these stories are disputed by analysts in the CIA and the DIA. Hersh also surmises that the Straussians Paul Wolfowitz hired at the Pentagon might have told noble, Platonic lies about WMD to justify the war.
If Hersh's interpretive/predictive streak holds, we should expect to find proof of WMD and a direct link between Iraq and al-Qaida within the next two weeks."
"Mr. Mukasey should open the door to their resolution by releasing the Justice Department's long-secret legal opinions that have warped our fight against terrorism...Yet all these opinions have been kept secret, along with many other, related post-9/11 opinions that purport to decide what America's law is. Is there ever a justification in a government of law for keeping what one believes to be the law secret?"
Wexler is one of two trying to do something with almost no help, I think he deserves support, and in turn that may encourage others to join and help him. Pelosi sold out early, it's obvious. Wexler deserves support regardless of personal political view, that's the only way to push for the power to do this, it has to be from both sides. If Clinton can go under oath for what he did, this administration should have to also. If this is not enforced, the next president will have even more power.
What is this nonsense? If they think the attorney general is acting in a corrupt manner, the Constitutions provides a remedy for them to use -- impeachment. They are suing him? Ha?
"There's Not One Real Conservative or Liberal in the Senate. Senators are politicians trying to get reelected and ideology is mostly a tool."
Throw labels out. Labels are misleading and
the mainstream media is largely to blame.
IT'S TIME FOR THE MEDIA TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE along with congress members selling out to corporate interests!
U.S. economics and infrastructure are in serious trouble. The Iraq war is costing as of March 9, 2008 - $12 billion PER MONTH. The list goes on and on.
5 Judiciary Comm members in favor of hearings: Keith Ellison...Cohen, Steve, TN...Baldwin, Tammy, WI...Gutierrez, Luis V., IL and Wexler, Robert, FL Congress members: Kucinich, Dennis, OH; Abercrombie, Neil, HI Capuano, Michael, MA;, Clarke, Yvette, NY Clay, Wm. Lacy, MO; DeFazio, Peter, OR Farr, Sam, CA; Grijalva, Raúl, AZ, Lee, Barbara, CA; Moore, Gwen, WI, Moran, James, VA; Thompson, Mike, CA, Towns, Edolphus, NY; Woolsey, Lynn, CA Wynn, Albert Russell, MD
I think there are 3 branches of govt. Time Congress grew some and started acting like a equal branch again. This is not a gray area-the constitution clearly gives congress the power to investigate, specifically to prevent abuse like what's been going on.
The politicization of the justice dept/system has given immunity to corrupt people.Congress needs to assert their authority in every way possible to correct the assaults to the constitution-the main laws they vowed to defend. The constitution that none are above.
maybe it's time to start using the media's classic scare tactics they use on us to force them into giving us the truths we deserve to hear. Regardless of the laws and acts they force upon us . in the end .. we decide how it's going to be!
The Military Commissions Act in October 2006 granted retroactive immunity on the issues of torture, and now they're making a deal to grant retroactive immunity to the telecommunications companies, because they cooperated illegally with the government in electronically surveilling us without warrants. Plus you have White House staff ignoring Congressional subpoenas. Mukasey won't prosecute anyone in the Bush administration for any crime. That's why they picked him.
I'm surprised that Chief Thief has not pardoned all of his co-conspirators yet. Although Bush did pardoned Scooter Libby for his role in outing Valerie Plame.
"But I have concluded that the prison sentence given to Mr. Libby is excessive. Therefore, I am commuting the portion of Mr. Libby's sentence that required him to spend thirty months in prison."
Bush did not pardon Libby--he commuted his sentence. Unlike a pardon, a commutation does not nullify the conviction and is often conditional. Bush didn't reduce Libby's term of incarceration, which he had the power to do. He completely eliminated it.
What would happen to me or any other average citizen if we refused to show up in court, if we were found in contempt, and thumbed our noses at the System? ARREST! Congress HAS the power to arrest, so why not send the Sergeant-at-Arms over to arrest these people? Frankly, where does it end? At what point does Congress tell the President and others to comply or else? No one wants violence or confrontation, and that is PRECISELY what these lawbreakers count on. Maybe it's time for the use of force.
Unfortunately, in order to arrest the Chief Criminal in Office and his cronies, there needs to be enough evidence to convict him in a court of law. An impeachment is designed to collect that evidence. These guys have done all sorts of things, but the evidence is not all there yet. And they know it and are using these stall tactics in their favor to make it impossible to get anything on them.
Yes, but one can be compelled, even by force, to appear. The simple fact that they have refused to answer a Congressional subpoena, have been held in contempt, would seem to me ample cause to compel them to appear. The only thing that KEEPS them from appearing is that it would indeed require force.
It is about time someone other than Ron Paul steps up and puts our president and his neo-cons in place. I feel that they should be accountable for breaking the law. We are as US citizens. Why is the VP and president above us?
Phana24JeffG - it is a very good sign that you're here attempting to discredit an individual - you're just doing your job. Go back to your owner and tell him to kiss our ass good but good.
"The AG says that even though Congress has the power to subpoena, he would not enforce those subpeonas"
The Attorney General needs to held accountable then. Is there NO hardfast law that Congress can refer to and say "hey, this is contempt," and then act upon that?
What IS the problem? We want BUSH/CHENEY held accountable and we want their supreme power stripped away, PERIOD! Who is holding the process back, Conyers?
"This is House Judiciary Chairman Conyers and Rob Kall arguing about impeachment. In this clip, Conyers makes a case for why he hasn't brought impeachment proceedings, and says that impeachment is on the table." Conyers on Impeachment watch?v=WPkBuQfZfFo
if he is a hack, then you must be an even dumber hack, because this is the most sense a politician in America has talked in a while besides Ron Paul (who is a real conservative by the way unlike you).
try the fact that the president does not have to give a reason for firing any one in his admin and that includes us att so that makes wexler a hack plain and simple and you are a nutcase
Wexler also wants our citizens to pony up $200 billion to compensate holocaust victims for the crimes we did against them. To commit a crime, you must be an adult, and to be an adult when the crimes were committed during the early 1940's, we would have to be at least 88 years old. I say lets sue all the 88 plus seniors for the dastardly crime of not rescueing the Jews fast enough. Tell Mr Wexler that in Amerika, children and grandchildren are not financially liable for the actions of our elders.
I read his statement to the sub-committee. It concerns only insurance company policies from 1940s. How about NOT lying about things you don't understand? Typical Republican.
It's cute how dems think Wexler throwing this bone means anything. Pelosi isn't going to do anything. Neither is Conyers. Sorry guys. Executive privilege, like I said. You not agreeing that the president has EP is irrelevant.
They have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity. You are my new hero!!! This arrogant lame duck thinks the rules don't apply to him and the he and his administration is above the law.
Go Wexler , YES ! But then you endorse hillary, who in turn, endorsed McCain, who was endorsed by anti-American George W. Bush. And BTW , do the math, hillary can't win even if she beats Obama in the rest of the primaries, which ain't bloody likely ! Support Obama , the only American Democrat left in the race . Rock ON Wexler !
Failing to impeach leaves unchallenged and intact the manufactured, distorted "reality" the Bush Administration has imposed on the country—of a perilous and fearful world, necessary warfare, and unending militarism. This is the result of seven years of conscious and effective propagandizing by the Administration, to justify its monstrous deceit: the so-called war on terror. But this bizarre "reality" of fear is now the base-datum of political discourse.
The CIA should have Waterboarded the Kid, that would be a much more Humaine way of cleaning. Now the lady will be arrested as a Domestic Terrorist and thrown to Gitmo for life. Mom should just sue the car wash for Trauma from incident. This was the top story on Headline News all day, while the Anti Waterboarding bill Veto'd by Bush was hidden. You people are all Sheep.
You're a prince... as for Pelosi, I wouldn't count on her at all, off the table. Can I commit a crime and have conviction off the table please? Can I rob a bank with indictment off the table, I can't even smoke a joint... these guys are smoking the constitution.
The Imperial Presidency is above the law. We, the People of the United States, our United States Congress, and our Supreme Court Judges are ignored and therefore irrelevant. Only the King of the United States makes decisions and then enforces edicts with his private army. Only the King of the United States of America can issue signing statements nullifying legislation, torture and imprison without due process, as well as spy on it's own citizens. Fascism is in America: Get used to it or else.
If there was one thing bush did correctly, was he United America. In fact he united the world. Republicans, democrats, asian, european, and everyone can proudly say... " we hate bush"
I came here to watch a video about a man i respect deeply and support. Have met.
Let me tell you something. If you think Rep. Wexler would ignore the type of bs some of these people are talking instead of taking it head on. Well I disagree. Infact I think its just that in him that is making sure he does everything he can to hold this criminal administration responsible.
Yes remain focused. I told the propagandists too leave. But shy from their lies I will not. Sorry. Not an inch.
We'd all like to see those crooks get it. But the fact is, they are untouchable while still in office. They would rather let bush drag it out till the new guy comes in, hence the "American Dream" will be clean clean clean. Wexler has all my respect, but he should have done this before all this 08 election fiasco began, ppl can't hear him from all that noise.
Wexler was elected in the last election. Considering the corporate media begun the Presidential hype the minute the Dems took a majority is no coincidence, niether is it an excuse to now shy from upholding the rule of law.
Like Many Have Said. NO MAN IS ABOVE THE LAW.
LET HISTORY RECORD IT.
It will serve the interests of our party and people. Consider it a matter of Karma and doing what is right.
Wexler should be Attorney General under Obama and spend the next four years turning over every rock and prosecuting every illegal act committed by this criminal administration.
Correction: the next EIGHT years! LOL It'll take at least that long to get to the bottom of all the corruption.
The fact that the Democrats (with the small exception of the brave 17 who are with Wexler) are chickening out on holding the Bush administration accountable does not bode well for democracy in America. Shame!
100% behind you Mr Wexler, it is no surprise that these arses are without an ounce of honor. Say the word and we'll kick them into jail where they all belong. Congress needs to take back their rightful place.
Well put Mr. Wexler. Just think, in the upcoming "election" (crowning) we will pick our next "president" (king/queen). It will give new meaning to the term "Good Night America". Our Constitution will be totally suspended. All "crimes" by previous administrations and their lackeys will be word changed to mean "affirmative action" taken to protect America. We will all go down on our knees and give thanks to our savior, "Big Government", begging for help, guidance and some form of benefit.
Robert Wexler is my Hero. He should be everyone's Hero who believes in the Constitution. I Love what Wexler stands for which is the Constitution of the United States of America.
I wish Representative Wexler the best of luck. It seems that more and more Democrats are growing... well, maybe not quite a spine, but a notocord at least.
Wow ... we better watch it. patsagainstrats is a Washington insider. He hob-nobs with all of the important repuke congressmen. We better be very careful, he has enough money to buy them all.

Many Democrats and Republicans passed this bill (INCLUDING CONGRESSMAN WEXLER) - we need to support the ones that did not.
Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and congressman Conyers did not
STOP trusting WEXLER - DO NOT VOTE TO "PROTECT" THE INTERNET

With Pentagon support, these spurious sources started telling their WMD/terrorism stories to the press, but most of these stories are disputed by analysts in the CIA and the DIA. Hersh also surmises that the Straussians Paul Wolfowitz hired at the Pentagon might have told noble, Platonic lies about WMD to justify the war.
If Hersh's interpretive/predictive streak holds, we should expect to find proof of WMD and a direct link between Iraq and al-Qaida within the next two weeks."

How can we "fight" big government when government is private?
Hundreds of companies are basically acting as agents or extensions of the US Government.
Beyond the basic structure, the US Government is a conglomerate of small businessess and grants funded to universities.
Just 1 of many
" California Microwave Systems ,a Defense Department contractor."
So who do we stand up to?
How can we possibly protest this?
We're battling a corporate coup. There's no way to win this type of fight.

And they know it and are using these stall tactics in their favor to make it impossible to get anything on them.
milofonbil 3 years ago
Yes, but one can be compelled, even by force, to appear. The simple fact that they have refused to answer a Congressional subpoena, have been held in contempt, would seem to me ample cause to compel them to appear. The only thing that KEEPS them from appearing is that it would indeed require force.
