They bought the Al Ham "Action/Eyewitness News" intro music package originally written for WPVI in Philly, WKBW in Buffalo and the other Capital Cities stations back in the 70s. (Both stations, incidentally, are still using that music today even though only Philly, Houston and Fresno stayed in the CapCities fold after they swallowed ABC (and in turn, 10 years later, got swallowed by the Mouse). .
This is a confusing and interesting mix. JCbD graphics, TV 3 branding along with Action News, and then it's pretty much all WPVI from there. "But the Big Story on Action News..."
@hkfreak No, no, no, TVbD this time. (I get them mixed up ALL the time.) WSTM's 1990s logo and Walls and Balls package appears toward the end of TVbD's 1994 demo.
@raymieX Yeah, I had a feeling I was going to be corrected there. But then again, I didn't want to write my comment all over again or post some vestige on how I meant that, not this.
