  • i love how they just casually remove the toe in the doctors office..like, nbd, just gonna cut off ur toe :) another one will grow back!

  • Holy crap he has no toe!! It gonna make me barf :s

  • eeeeeeww

  • @arrowhead474 Grow some balls and get over it -___-

  • Ok you say if is not red is dead. After you cut the black tissue you keep cutting red tissue, was that blood over dead tissue or it was real red healthy tissue?

  • im so hungry :d now !!!!!!!!

  • crunch crunch crunch

  • I'm at that strange end of youtube again aren't I?

  • how do i get here i was watching sims 3 pets trailer

  • spaghetti fell out

  • that happened to my aunt

  • thats why tight control of diabetes is CRUCIAL to prevent this...

  • @TerminalSulcus i think this relationship started off on the wrong FOOT. XD but seriously shut the fuck up.

  • weird part of youtube again

  • I'm just wondering I know the black tissue is dead - so thus no feeling - but when you start cutting near the "better" tissue did the man start feeling anything? Also I noticed you were using cuticle scissors, was this for cutting thicker material? At the end of you cutting you seemed to be having some resistance, was that the toe bone? I don't know why, but i find this stuff SO interesting! Yet if someone is throwing up or other stuff It's good night Irene!

  • @bambis46 The man is neuropathic,so the lack of feeling is not only commited to necrotic tissue ;) They are not cuticle scissors. Yes he removed phalangeal bone. Hope that helps.

  • Wtf I thought everyones feet look like that?!

  • HOW DID I GET HERE I WAS LOOKING AT FOOT FETISH VIDEOS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN A GUY IS GETTING HIS FOOT F UP.

  • I thought the maggots are mainly effective on sloughy tissue, they are not going to nosh their way through 4cm of necrotic digit? Some good stuff going on in Cuba cud b da end of 'crunchy' toes

  • I think he has something wrong with his toe.

  • Son putos los dos hahahahhahha

  • This is so f ed up! I cannot wait til they find a way to get rid of the way diabetes messes up your circulation

  • @Dablkwid0w2008 not until 22nd century?

  • yeah it is true im a diabetic and yr feet go numb and u cant feel nothing its an awful disease to get

  • Is It Just Me Or Is that A diagram On how To Cut The Toe Underneath That Guys Foot?

  • shouldn't a surgeon be doing that ?????????

  • Is it not painful

  • I knew someone who injured his thumb at work. It turned black, he tried washing and soaking in salt water and soapy water but nothing. He came back the next day. with an onion wrapped around his thumb and the next day the little black spot was gone. He said he took the thin inside peeling off and wrapped the onion peel around his thumb for 5 hours or so.

  • Maggot therapy ftw.

  • why not just tkae of the whole toe??

  • is he cutting the bone

  • @puni908 yes that is why he says his tool @ 1:54 "cuts through the boney tissue...crunch crunch crunch" LMAO!

  • how the fuck does this happen?

  • Fuck, that was painful to watch! Normally I can stomach most of this stuff, but that cracking, and cutting of the skin and toe bone...I cringed and had to keep myself from passing out.

  • Fuck it I would have had them cut the dam thing off

  • That is fucking horrific !

  • this is disgusting

  • In the 1920's Gasious Gangrene was being cured with low dose radiation from X-rays with better results than wtih todays anti-biotics.

  • lol, hes just digging in there

  • Disgusting pedicure!

  • Jeez, the part that's actually disgusting to me is the fact that your/hes removing part of the persons body like it was nothing, and the person just sits there as it was nothing. Although point given, the dead nerves wouldn't send messages to the brain so you wouldn't feel any pain. The cracking noise was pretty creepy too. The actual blood and narcotic tissue from the gangrene (if thats what the person is suffering from), wasn't that disturbing to me. I hope it didn't spread further.

  • no need to cause more trauma with debridment, I let it be and it eventually fell off, same 2nd toe right foot. yeah it took a long time.

  • i want fried spaghetti

  • Dr Sedicum, awesome video, please post more procedures soon. God Bless.

  • omy wth tthat is so fucking nasty

  • Medical science has come a long way but it has an even longer way to go.

  • Sorry but why is the bone being removed? what is the toe supposed to look like after?

  • Nice watch doc.

  • The maggots will eat the dead tissue and be more accurate than the turkey carving the doc is doing on his foot, but not prevent the infection inside the foot. That is why his foot looks otherwise healthy. Diabetes is horrible, you see the guy can't feel it cause all the nerves in his foot are dead, not cause he's sedated.

  • @TrueVideo: Yes, maggot therapy can be very effective, and much more precise as they only eat dead tissue...unfortunately it is very difficult to get patients to consent to the treatment.

  • @drsedicum Yeah. I'd prefer to lose a large chunk of me than put maggots on me. :C

  • @drsedicum I'd take the baby flies, they know exactally what to get rid of. Hopefully I'll never have to make that decisen!

  • @watchensee Oh decision that's how it's spelled!

  • @drsedicum I meant no disrespect by the turkey comment. Its sad that people wont allow thier brain to thrive with new ideas. But my question to you is, how does the insurance company deal with it if you were allowed by the patient to use maggots? would they even allow it?

  • @drsedicum one would think the patients would be more open to maggot therapy when they hear that they could save a lot more of their skin by letting the maggots do the job!

  • @drsedicum understandable wouldnt you say

  • @drsedicum if i had a wound like that i would consent to maggot therapy.

  • @TrueVideo His whole foot is numb? :(

  • Shame these doctors dont have YouTube or they would have known that maggots will outperform any of his "superior" antibiotics.

  • i love the doctor how he is just calm about it. He even throws out a little saying of his. But you know inside his head he is like wtf this is so nasty omg

  • @oaklandrmoss18 Maybe when he was a resident but this guys been around way worse come on now use your head.

  • Excuse me while I yak!!!

  • I wonder if maggot therapy would have stopped this infection? forpawsbarkery I agree with you, seeing this made me cringe. It looks very painful.

  • Now it's possible!!!
