  • Yes she is a R. rattus.

I don't know exactly how old she was when I found her. You can read the story on my blog Trailerparkqueen at Wordpress.

I had her for two days before giving her to a rescue. She was trying to nurse but quickly learned to lick formula dripped on my fingers and then from a shallow bowl.

Two weeks later, she is eating soft and hard food and doing great.

  • Is this guy from the species R. rattus? How old is he? I was wondering if my little guys can start weaning from syringe to bowl, and this guy definitely looks to be younger than them and seems to be going great guns.

Just scouting for whatever info and advice I can get. :)
