Thanks! There seems to be a lot of confusion since this is the video we created to project on the house, not what it looks like when it is actually projected. People seem to think I am trying to pass it off as the latter, which I never intended to do. I only posted this to show a few of my friends and family before we did the actual projection, but it has gone viral.

We are pretty low key for Christmas. Our city does a huge Christmas light display in a nearby park which can be seen from our front porch so we just enjoy that. Plus we are ready to relax after a busy Halloween!

I got to know how you did this? Is there a web site to show what you need to do? I've got a projector and a laptop. But how did you manage to get the outline of the house and where did you get the video? And did you darken out around the house and plants. But what did you use to get the house? Did you take a picture and then just black it out or white it out? Please forgive me for all the dumb questions.

@Elc0chin0 Getting the house outline is simple. Once you have the projector set up connected to your laptop you are projecting whatever is on your laptop screen onto the house. Just open any image editing software and start with a blank image. You just look at the house as you draw, moving your mouse along the lines. When you are done you have an exact outline of your house from the perspective of the projector.
