  • I LOVE YOU TO DEATH THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH

  • Love your accent....!!!!

  • Thanks Im gonna make a tutorial in a little while!!

  • Great tutorial!!! I'm gonna try this. :D

  • Do you have to use white modules??

  • ARGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Fucking peice of fucking shit!!! i wasted 3 hours and 12 peices of paper for a fucking shit ball that falls a part every five seconds!!!!!!!

  • i invented that assembling method before watching that video!

  • I messed up and made a new thing that is really cool

  • man lucky! i wish i could get lines to magically appear...

i guess magic doesnt like me ;P

  • :o how do you lines magically appear??

  • You said so yourself already: by magic. ;)

  • @AdamsSara i love you

  • @xDjPandazx she stops the video marks and starts again if you see very noye

  • @xDjPandazx Analyze it carefully and you will notice that everytime she folds the paper her hand/paper or the backgrounds will move =)

  • @xDjPandazx Look in 0:25 to 0:31 the stack of papers suddenly moved ;)

  • Great video! Do you think this is easier to make than the Origami Flexiball? I have to do this for a school project.

  • @xostuthi Yes, I think this model is a bit easier to fold than Jorge Pardo's Flexiball.

  • @xostuthi i wish i had a teacher like you :(

  • Great video! Do you think this is easier to make than the Origami Flexiball? I have to do this for a school project.

  • your voise kind of creps me out but nice vid

  • Thank you so much I had to do this for a project in school this really helped!

  • WHAT A JOY TO FIND THIS VIDEO !

  • Thumbs up if you were gonna try this and you realized your paper wasn't square, it was rectangular printing paper :\

  • @jacobtownsend You can always cut a square from a rectangular sheet of paper. :)

  • i like crinkiling of paper in fast motion :)

  • Thank you so much AdamsSara,

With your help, I've finally managed to make this origami model that's been haunting me for a year and a half. Once again, thanks=)

  • @BananaMirror Great to hear that I was able to help you with it. :)

  • magic dots lool......great vid!

  • te la llevas ablando

  • Very clear instructions! Thanks for this video. Can you please tell me if there a difference in the final appearance between this version and the one in the other video?

  • @gshemar No, the assembly method is just more stable. It doesn't change the appearance of the finished model.

  • whats great i made it turned out like yours but when i made it well put it together it kept falling and i got mad and used tape then couple weeks latr someone sat on it...

  • @bubbles70232 Ensure that you're assembling the modules correctly. If it still doesn't quite work, try adding one or two more modules. That should also help.

  • what measure of the height and the weight of the origami paper? >.<

  • Can u make a tutorial for Robert Lang's tarantula

  • great vid ,it was very easy to follow..thanks ,im new to this and its very cool ...nice 1...cam

  • this helped so much

  • YIPPEEE I MADE IT!! ON THE FiRST TRY!! YAYAYAYAYAYYAYA

    THANK YOU!

  • @envyangel120 Congrats. :)

  • how do u connect at the end ?

  • @7459cinnamonroll You connect the last modules the same way as the first modules. You might want to fix most of the other modules first (this is also shown in the video) before connecting the last couple of modules. This should make the model more stable, so that none of the modules disconnect when trying to connect the last two. If that still does not work for you, try adding one or two additional modules. This will reduce the stress on the connections while assembling.

  • if i connected all the modules the original way, can i connect the last two in this way? or do i need to reassemble all of the pieces?

  • @ShredTheHood Well, if you connect them as shown in this video, it's more robust. If you use the other assembly method for most of the modules, some of the modules may disconnect again when you connect the last two. You can just try it out. Also, it may be that if you use different locking mechanisms that the model will not twist as regularly, but slightly differently for those two modules. In principle you can combine the assembly methods, though.

  • at 3:19 i have no idea how to do that.

  • @MrSuperfrogman1 I don't know how I could explain a squash fold in more detail than in the video. Sorry. :(

  • are the peices of paper sqare??

  • @ipodtouch2gful Yes, they are square.

  • I AM GOINJG TO DO THIS NEXT!

  • the finnaly pocketing annoys me but i can do it!!!!

  • one more question...

is it ok to use 8 peices of paper?

  • It will be harder to assemble, but you can give it a try.

  • ok thank you!

  • Do you have to use origami paper or can you use construction paper too?

  • I'm not sure what you mean by construction paper, but this model should work well with normal copy paper and the like.

  • he means the really tough paper that usually comes in tablets and different colors

  • Thanks for teach us how to make the firework and congratulations!,your video is very understandly!!!

I tried to make a firework with six papers, but I couldn`t twist it, I tried to do it with eight papers too and in this case I could twist it. Thanks again!!!

  • Is a paper, both sides colored okay for using to do this ?

  • Yes.

  • wtf is that kind of paper

    lol

  • its cursed paper thats what it is lol

  • in 9:01 u told me to twist the firework in and whenever i did that the whole thing fell apart... plz help thx

  • Are you sure you assembled the modules correctly? The construction should be relatively stable then. If so, try adding a couple more modules. That should make it a bit easier.

  • thx!

  • your voice is annoying -.-' i could barely understand

  • Where do you get all your paper from?

  • I mostly use wrapping paper, paper I bought from the British Origami Society, or - as in this video - paper from Muji (muji(dot)eu -> Stationery -> Childern & Craft -> Origami Paper 27 Colours). Those packs include 80 sheets of 15cm squares. The main reason I have Muji paper is that the Oxford Origami Society has it, and I started origami with them. You can get 15cm squares of origami paper at just about any origami store, and at many arts and crafts stores.

  • u have a beautifull voice

  • thx this way is much easier when putting the last 2 together it doesnt fall apart

  • omg I love that you take the time to mark the creases and then edit it all together for us. quality quality stuff.

  • your voice is likean angel

  • thank you very much for the very detailed explinaition!absolutely wonderful video!

  • thank you so much

  • I don't understand the locking method part, and I 'm stuck there, can somebody help me?

  • YATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!nippa!^^ aligaTO!

  • When i twist it to join the last white and green it just falls apart....a connect them exactly like you, and adivice would be appreciated. thanks

  • If you assembled just as shown in the video and you are having problems, try adding another module. The tension should then be lower. You can also try making the creases of the locking mechanism stronger, and checking that the paper aligns nicely everywhere. This should make the construction more stable.

    Hope this helps.

  • u did an AMAZING job on this video! so detailed! u can really tell what is going on.

  • so amazing! im only 8 and i think it rocks! its quite easy to make!

  • so cool

  • how to do make a white modules

  • same as the others

  • THANKS A LOT!

  • This is the best origami demo I've ever seen!!! I can't thank you enough for taking the time to put it together so meticulously. People with a talent to explain things as clearly as you have are few and far between.

I was able to complete my model in about 90 minutes on my first try (not that I was rushing). I posted a clip of it as a video response for you.

It's far from perfect, but I was still pleased with the result.

    Thanks again!

  • holyshit

  • incredible instructions they are the best i have seen

  • where do u buy the paper and what size is it??

  • Any square paper will do. I recommend squares between 7.5cm and 15cm length on each side. That translates to 3in to 6in length on each side. Slightly thicker paper (eg normal printer paper, or thin card) will work well for this model.

  • you have buy the origami paper in hoppycraft buy the 500 pack that ones very good i have that one!

  • soy de mexico

yo creo que esa figura de papel esta chidisima y que reconosco que le que la hiso es muy habil con el papel

  • Thanks so much for posting this video! The clearest and easy to follow origami video ever created.

By the way, your voice and intonation is very very sweet and beautiful. A joy to listen to.

  • Agreed - you are most assuredly gifted in the area of instruction.

I love this sort of thing, but normally do not have the patience for it. Your instructions are so marvelously clear and calming, that I am going to attempt a few things.

Thank you so very kindly. Happy Chanukah/Merry Christmas :oD

  • ohhhhh....i get it! thank you!

  • um if you dont have square paper what other paper can you use??can you use printer paper and measure it and cut it out like square paper?will it still work?

  • Of course it will work if you cut paper so it is square. Just be sure to cut all of them to the same sized square.

  • thanks a ''bunch. i made 1

  • i think you could use24,12colored 12 white

  • how many white and blue papers do we need?

  • do we have to make only 12 of those?

    Are the white ones included?

  • Yes, 12 sheets of paper. No more than that.

  • why not 24 it can be bigger 12 colored 12 white

  • 12 are sufficient, using less will probably be hard. Using more is, of course, ok.

  • itahws the maximum amount of paper for this?

  • I did it and its pretty sweet, tnx for the instructions.

  • were do i get this paper from?

  • You can use normal printing paper for this model, if you like. Just cut it to a square.

  • sweet thx

  • i still can't do it even with this video.

Oh well.Any way, thanks for the video. Maybe i'm bit impatient.

  • AWE SOME I MADE IT IT took like 2hrs but it was worth it 5/5

  • Thank You! Even If Im 10 y. i can do it! thank you soooooo much!

i fanally got it! p.s. it took me 7 trys to get it! :/

  • @PuffleStarz shut up about your age. you are a show off. and you arnt even allowed to have a youtube account!

  • @sirdanik Yeah hey stupid, im 13 now so shut up. Why you jelous cuz you didint get it at all?

  • @PuffleStarz your still not allowed on youtube! and what if I did get it???

  • @sirdanik Yeah by the way to sign up you need to be 13 years and up BUT you need to be 18 to watch like porn videos and stuff. Oh and btw, why the fuck are you on youtube if youre just here to fight and cause problems? I mean, if you plan to do this and not do videos and stuff, get the fuck out yah know? Like GEEZ -_-" Youre wasting youre time over nothing. Sigh, people like you... Always causing problems on websites like these. How sad :[

  • @sirdanik well i will get some video's soon so shut up

  • You are a terrific video teacher!!!!! I like the "magic" drawn lines that appear after you fold :-. I am wishing so much for you to do Alexander Swallowtail Butterfly by Michael LaFosse - I wish to make this for Holiday gift to someone who has helped me so much to be able to do things like this again (butterflies are her f a v o r i t e ). Thanks for all the great videos Sara.

  • Check pem(dot)org/origami/ > Fold more models > Origami Now > second from the right.
