Real rods are not elongated moths. "monster quest rods" was misleading. Shot moth at very slow shutter speed, 1/30s, 2 elongate it. Then a more normal speed 2 show single moth. If u r tying to capture rods on film ud use a very fast shutter speed 2 freeze them. I use 1/2000s & higher. I've filmed rods that are not blurred at all and have sharp details see (roswellrods), photos, string1248 also filmed insects flapping their wings along with the rods.

I saw this entire TV special. At the end of the program they actually proved what they were. They were insects. When filmed at a specific frame rate, the insects fly at such a speed that their image looks elongated when played back. The weird "links" on the lines are their wings, blurred because they are moving so fast. Look up the program. I think it was on Discovery. Lol this is so funny. I wasted an hour and a half just to find out it was a bug.

It makes LESS sense that there are aliens flying around in the upper atmosphere than there are just bugs flying close to the lense when looking up there or something. Unless the lense is IN the upper atmosphere. But I dont recall them ever being found there. I'm just saying what I saw on the program I watched, and if EVERY case was an insect, I'm sure there's a reason for your example as well.
