bullshit...neither re1 nor re3 went for Nintendo 64, instead they came out for the ps1 and pc and later ported for the cube, the re2 port was awfull in N64, RE4 was first a NGC exlcusive yeah, but that is because capcom tought that the ps2 could not run the game, but later they realise that the ps2 can run it after all, now the WII is in the same situation that the ps2 years ago but the wii is not powerfull enough...so go and buy a non-nintendo console and play RE5

Resident Evil 5 should be awesome on Wii, but unfortunetly it appears that Capcom hasn't plans to port him to Wii (Maybe he will with Wii 2, like RE4 Wii Edition) i was one of the guys that hoped it too much on wii to complete my Collection (I've REUC, REDC, RE4, REArchives0, REArchivesRemake) but fortunetly i've it for PC, but i still awating for one for Wii (i knows i already have but i want it for the million of guys who wants too) the RE4 game was excellent on Wii, why not RE5 Wii Edit.??

I agree, RE4 is the best I've played, though 5 had some nice aspects (Co-op mainly). I'm pretty sure they didn't make RE5 for the Wii though because nice as the Wii is, it's not nearly as powerful as the 360 or PS3. RE% may have needed a stronger console than the Wii could offer.

Resident Evil 4 was originally going to be Nintendo Gamecube exclusive....then it got ported to PS2, and PC, and Nintendo Wii. and, it got remade for Mobile phones and the Zeebo system. Resident Evil 5 is currently Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. so far, its on no Nintendo console at all. can you BELIEVE how unfairly Nintendo is being treated by these fu**ers?

@PolishedMetal there is also the fact that even if capcom could produce a tone down version of RE5 they wouldn't it wouldn't be profitable to market a game on a last gen system it works the other way around though because they took Re4 and put it on wii because all the wii has is an updated gamecube engine.

The wii may be a better selling system but it cant back the game engine that the 360 and ps3 have. if you were to try and run this game on a 360 you would have to cut out most visual aspects, cutscenes and other things that the 360 and ps3 versions have. to put RE5 on the wii is like putting Fallout 3 on the wii you would have to cut out most stuff just to avoid having six disc for the game.
@PolishedMetal People are buying the wii because its cheap and its a family system its giving people a reason to play games together. For capcom to make re5 on the wii would actually make them lose money because you would have to cut out most visual aspects, and alot of cutscenes to even be able for the wii to play it. RE5 to date is the MOST bought Resident Evil.
Xbox may have not sold as much as the Wii but Tbh i think the Xbox is better system as once you hit 15 years of age your gonna want a more MA-TU-RE System which is where they are to ether buy a PS3 (50/50 chance) Xbox 360 (75/100 Chance) or stick with a wii (30/100 chance)

ya i do, I have all systems. RE4 is worse in graphic but funner to play with wii controls. RE5 just has better graphics and co-op but its less fun and way less scary. RE4 is a much funner game. It got better ratings. RE5's 360 controls are not even close to as good as wii's controls. Face it, u probably own only a 360. 360 is probably my favorite system but RE is better for Wii. Gameplay over graphics.

Thar is your opinion, RE4 looks horrible sometimes and its not that good, for me RE5 is waaay better because it has more options, you can make up strategies and choose the weapons you want and challenge yourself to complete the game wirh a hadngun only, RE4 is good but after I have played RE5, RE4 is to shitty for me.
Thats why it got much higher ratings and is the leader of the Resident Evil series. lol RE5 is the follower of the series which all reviewers agree on and the Wii version of RE4 is the definitive version of RE.

Xbox 360 Arcade has a 256MG Memory card, but its suposed to be used only to save games, the 360 Arcade is waaaay cheaper than a Wii and it plays all of the 360 games the same way that Pro or Elite do, the HDD is for saving pictures, videos or extremly heavy games like Crysis 2 or Grand Theft Auto 4, you are the idiot.
How many games are you gonna have fit into 256mb. And no actually the xbox arcade is only $50 cheaper and you'll only be able to play like 2 games with no DLC. I have a 20gb and I barely have enough space for all my games. 360's sweet but the arcade sucks. 256mb. And if you want proof that I own a 360 add me Finaloneballer.
The Xbox 360 Memory Card can save up to 12 games, its not so much, but for a console that its like 4 times better than a Wii, its enoguh for many people.
No they couldn't. I own a twenty gb HDD. It barely hold my games and I constantely have to delete files and yes I have only 8 games ATM but have save files for around 10. Yes I have DLC but not 19.5 gb of DLC. It you get a 360 u need a hard drive there is no point without one. You wouldn't even be able to handle the New XBL without taking away 1/3 of ur space and u also need updates with that 2. Xbox arcade is not a good deal, Wii is much better then the Xbox arcade, the 20gb xbox is good though
actually the my 360 is pretty stable. Haven't had problems with it. It's been about a year since I got it. My friend had it for about 2 and he hasn't gotten the RROD.
When I only think about the mercenaries mode, how many points you could get with the Wii remote control, that would be so much more realistic and much easier to handle and to make head shots, ec.

Also, Capcom is it's own independent company. They don't need Nintendo at all, so don't give us a sentence fragment like "RE IS some kind of Nintendo." It's not. The majority of Resident Evil games released are on Sony systems. RE1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so many more. Dead Aim, Survivor, Outbreak, Outbreak 2, Code Veronica X. Nintendo had Gaiden, RE0, 1, the remake of the Playstation games of1 (DS), 2 and 3 (Can't consider those Nintendo games), 4, Umbrella Chronicles parts one and two. That's it.

God, yes, I have it. I regret buying it. The store should have paid me $20 to take it. It's the same fucking game as the PS2 version. It even looks better on the PS2 than it does on the Wii. Even then, I had a more enjoyable time playing Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube than on the Wii.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to playing Resident Evil 5 on my X-Box 360.
They can give us everything the ps3 and xbox versions have INCLUDING the same graphics when they use "quantum 3" a software, that can make the Wii able to play the graphics of the xbox 360. And then with Wii Speak that game would be fuckin hot, more realistic as on ps3 and xbox 360 TOGETHER I swear.

Resident Evil 4 was originally going to be Nintendo Gamecube exclusive....then it got ported to PS2, and PC, and Nintendo Wii. and, it got remade for Mobile phones and the Zeebo system. Resident Evil 5 is currently Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. so far, its on no Nintendo console at all. can you BELIEVE how unfairly Nintendo is being treated by these fu**ers?
Sony and Microsoft are allowed to have whatever they want, but Nintendo is left out to bite the dust.....Resident Evil 5 deserves to be on Wii

@PolishedMetal there is also the fact that even if capcom could produce a tone down version of RE5 they wouldn't it wouldn't be profitable to market a game on a last gen system it works the other way around though because they took Re4 and put it on wii because all the wii has is an updated gamecube engine.

The wii may be a better selling system but it cant back the game engine that the 360 and ps3 have. if you were to try and run this game on a 360 you would have to cut out most visual aspects, cutscenes and other things that the 360 and ps3 versions have. to put RE5 on the wii is like putting Fallout 3 on the wii you would have to cut out most stuff just to avoid having six disc for the game.

Xbox may have not sold as much as the Wii but Tbh i think the Xbox is better system as once you hit 15 years of age your gonna want a more MA-TU-RE System which is where they are to ether buy a PS3 (50/50 chance) Xbox 360 (75/100 Chance) or stick with a wii (30/100 chance)

ya i do, I have all systems. RE4 is worse in graphic but funner to play with wii controls. RE5 just has better graphics and co-op but its less fun and way less scary. RE4 is a much funner game. It got better ratings. RE5's 360 controls are not even close to as good as wii's controls. Face it, u probably own only a 360. 360 is probably my favorite system but RE is better for Wii. Gameplay over graphics.

Xbox 360 Arcade has a 256MG Memory card, but its suposed to be used only to save games, the 360 Arcade is waaaay cheaper than a Wii and it plays all of the 360 games the same way that Pro or Elite do, the HDD is for saving pictures, videos or extremly heavy games like Crysis 2 or Grand Theft Auto 4, you are the idiot.

The Xbox 360 Memory Card can save up to 12 games, its not so much, but for a console that its like 4 times better than a Wii, its enoguh for many people.

No they couldn't. I own a twenty gb HDD. It barely hold my games and I constantely have to delete files and yes I have only 8 games ATM but have save files for around 10. Yes I have DLC but not 19.5 gb of DLC. It you get a 360 u need a hard drive there is no point without one. You wouldn't even be able to handle the New XBL without taking away 1/3 of ur space and u also need updates with that 2. Xbox arcade is not a good deal, Wii is much better then the Xbox arcade, the 20gb xbox is good though

In last news Capcom said, they wanted to sell about 3.5 million copies of RE5 on xbox and ps3.
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition sold only on Wii about 1 million copies and that only cause many people already had a gamecube, pc or ps2 version. It would sell best on Wii.

My suggestion? Go buy an X-BOX 360 Arcade, it's $200. And don't spew that "XBOXES SUCK" bull either; If the 360 or PS3 suck, remember: They have RE5. Grow up.

Also, Capcom is it's own independent company. They don't need Nintendo at all, so don't give us a sentence fragment like "RE IS some kind of Nintendo." It's not. The majority of Resident Evil games released are on Sony systems. RE1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so many more. Dead Aim, Survivor, Outbreak, Outbreak 2, Code Veronica X. Nintendo had Gaiden, RE0, 1, the remake of the Playstation games of1 (DS), 2 and 3 (Can't consider those Nintendo games), 4, Umbrella Chronicles parts one and two. That's it.

God, yes, I have it. I regret buying it. The store should have paid me $20 to take it. It's the same fucking game as the PS2 version. It even looks better on the PS2 than it does on the Wii. Even then, I had a more enjoyable time playing Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube than on the Wii.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to playing Resident Evil 5 on my X-Box 360.

RE5 should come to the Wii, as long as the developers are not lazy and give us everything the PS3/360 versions have (except for the graphics).
It still needs to include online, etc.

They can give us everything the ps3 and xbox versions have INCLUDING the same graphics when they use "quantum 3" a software, that can make the Wii able to play the graphics of the xbox 360. And then with Wii Speak that game would be fuckin hot, more realistic as on ps3 and xbox 360 TOGETHER I swear.

Thank you, and we deserve the game, Nintendo helped so much to franchise Resident Evil and make it what it is today. We spent so much money to capcom, so they HAVE to port it to Wii!!!
