Me and my mate always used to rush every map in no mercy as the survivors when we were good enough at it just the 2 of us :p always made it thru every lvl generally without using our health packs ^^ cant wait for l4d 2 now tbh, experiment with rushing them lvls <3 if any1 wants to join us on the 360 GC = Alor666 his = Lukedakota L4d rules tbh great game ^^

make sure there's an actual reason to rush, and that there's something to rush TOWARDS before trying it. Like, if something that you can turn off is making a huge racket, and attracting a ton of shit, that's the time to make a dash for it!

Me and my friends usually rush through levels all the time and it usually works. It catches the other team off guard. We call it "Time Trialing".

Yeah rushing tends to work... IF THERE IS ONLY ONE OPPONENT. I apologize if i'm wrong to assume, but either this is true or the opposing team absolutely fails at setting up an ambush, but there was only one Boss Infected on the screen at a time. If I'm wrong, good job. if i'm right, your team completely took advantage of a person that had no chance of preventing your rushing, give a guy a chance.

I am only talking about some common courtesy thats all. Slow yourself down so that he isn't always trailing you and there is some chance of clash, if only to stop the other team from dropping out. This is the same reason that if a person is soloing on a survivor team, you kill the CPs instead of just autokilling the only human.

WE talked about rushing before, after your other l4d vid. It has it's moments like the first part of this map but imo you should slow down on the roof bit, as this is one of the easiest segments it isn't that impresive a score. The best rush map of all though is dead air 4, start the van then rush to the end aslong as no tank youll get 190 hp bonus easy.

Other times it's best to take it slower though a lot of people always take it TOO slow.

I can definitely see how it is possible to have things work out well and quickly. I've been at it for months and I always fall into extreme match ups. I end up on either side in a top notch vs bottom notch team match. I'm not that quick through the maps but it seems to work well so I'll give a shot. I tried expert with bots and the horde ate us alive.

Rushing only works if you can coordinate well with your team. It also forces the opposing team to be quick in reacting. It seemed like the other team in this case wasn't quick to react at all.

I'm MLG for L4D, and rushing is by far the best. The game engine won't respond quickly enough to spawn large groups of zombies ahead of you, as it is difficult with special infected to catch up with you as well.

You may not realize, but coordinating a rush with people you do not know is a lot easier than stopping one with people you do not know. You actually had the advantage here as the enemies were unable to work together to stop you. Even still, rushing is risky, hard, and in my opinion not really fun. And I'm sure you realized how close you were to being dead near the end of the video. Pretty close, lol.
