Because she's one of the people responsible for Pumpkinhead's resurrection. She has to die in order for you to get one of the medals to Pumpkinhead's Lair.

So, what happens if you just let everybody get killed by Pumpkinhead? And how exactly does the voodoo doll work? Sorry if you explained this and I was just not paying attention. This game just baffles me.

In the movie, Ozie gives it to Braddock so he can show Pumpkinhead that he doesn't want to hurt him.

In the game, it does the same thing, stopping him from attacking temporarily.

If you let an innocent die, you die. Simple as that.

and wtf with those enemies? O_o

and why didin't they make this game scarry? or maybe it is scarry?...the movie was suposed to be scarry...?

Oh I know I did, it's just not as useful in Periphery as it is in Purgatory.

Also, on top of enemy locations, it shows where the...health balls...in Purgatory are. Again, useful.
