when you lift its cage cover in the morning, greet it with a "Good morning" and "Good night" before bed time.

If its a male, it has better chances of speaking human words. Does it whistle?

i had a cockatiel named koko. hewas my life but he flew out the door and flew away in confusion because we were against clipping his wings. hopefully he is still out there :( love yours by the way

I got the bird, when I had a boyfriend from Russia, he wanted to call the bird Sasha. In Russian Sasha can be a boy's name or a male pet. Yes my bird is a boy, and his name is Sasha.
